Been wanting to fight this boss since vanilla, and I finally got the chance yesterday after struggling a bit with the Twin Emps. To date the most fun boss fight I've experienced in this game. Fortunately we were only 4 when one in our group accidentally pulled him, so the beams didn't do much damage.

@Evilnils if anything all the updates and every expansion of WoW has made it better. the game has never downgraded. and yes, PvP and PvE is fairly balanced now, other then rogues with legendary daggers. but they deserve it because they were shit on the entire cataclysm expansion. the game is getting better and better and i highly doubt itll get worse. many people would rather play WoW now then it was in Vanilla.

@mjshorty101 Cthun wasn't too hard. The Cataclysm HM content is much more challenging. And yes, you can instantly wipe the entire raid on fights such as HM Valiona and HM Council if you're stupid or creative enough.

For everyone that doesnt know resists, he said 434,000 nature damage, 436,000 resisted. He's not lying. His nature resist resisted 436,000 damage of a grand total of 870,000 damage. I've seen C'Thuns laser hit for 8 million. I've heard it can be higher but thats the highest I've seen.

@Xyrgra You have the DPS for sure LOL. The issue you're having is DRs on the valks. When the 15% buff came out the valks became stupid easy mode to kill I'm just going to assume you never worked on HLK with a 0 or 5% buff. Remember CS doesn't share the same DR as everything else, so rogues can help save the day.  One mut rogue spec'd into Dire Brew helps immensley also. Try having a particular person CC each valk.

For those that are wondering, the eye laser hits it's first target, then goes to another within a 10 yard range. There's no limit on the number of jumps, and it doubles in power each time.
