All contestants on either apprentice are "media whores" as you so eloquently put it. Some even leave higher paid jobs just to get their smug, arrogant, self important faces on the TV to masterbate their ego. There is little difference.

I don't think Lee, Kristina, or a number of other British contestants were there for that reason. Yes they do tend to pick many complete twats however. American candidates are far more egocentric, and there is a shallow and fake fox-news-esque-OMG-like-no-way demeanour to all US copycat shows of UK television.
