Natalie, what I like about your voice is that you know WHEN to sing - and very key, when NOT to. You have a great instinct of when to be subtle and when to use a soft, breathless whisper. Very mature, introspective, thoughtful and relaxing music - you're like an artist from another, much less commercial era. I'd say you're a great minimalist. I think your voice would be fantastic within a jazz-influenced, acoustic style genre, incorporate some archtop jazz guitar, acoustic guitar. Best to you.
'Cruel' went right though my heart like a wispfull mist of your pleas.....your words are very graphic, easy, to the point, and yet sad inna sense......and the 'snow' put the 'icing-on-the-cake' when it comes to 'fences'....been there!
