  • @schroel theres also wild blue and black ones

  • I own 5 axolotle. so i hold a key in the species future-If i can sell the babies then the species survive

  • Im glad i own one, i want a piece of history .. but hopefully my favorite pet's brothers wont go extinct!

  • I believe the white one is wild, it's albino

  • Does anybody know if the white Axolotl at the beginnining of the video is a wild individual or a captive-breed one ?

  • Thank you for posting this piece. It is very helpful to understanding how this popular pet species is fairing in the wild.

  • i got 4 of them lol check out my page

  • cmon,if you really try,you make a diffrence with those axolotls to near extinction,to least concern!

  • even though they r almost extinkt i wont one!!

  • @WolfmanZach

They are all over the place, they have them in Japan, England, U.S., Spain, I own 5 myself. Its not impossible, but hard.

  • Do you have any information as to how I can get in touch with the various people in charge or relief and preservation efforts?

  • @natalbug89 or anyone interested in helping here's the email of Dr. Zambrano's lab Laboratorio de Restauración Ecológica: ajolote@ibiologia.unam.mx

  • dammit, shouldve watched first, i knew that was the reason

what can we really do then?? not everyone cares =(

i wouldnt go near anywhere with hanging dolls either xD thats pretty scary

  • cant they be bred in captivity in a way to help savor the wild population, and not just as pets???

fucking pollution, and dams and shit

  • thats what i was thinking they are being bred like crazy because scientists tihkn that we can oneday regrow limbs like them, but they should be releasing the wild color strains to the wild

  • there exticed in the wild i fink but not in captivity cos u can buy em cheap (im gettin 2)

  • have you bought them yet, and where did you buy them from. i dont support the animal trade but I will adopt from people that are uneducated in there care. When you bought them were they past there cannibalistic phase? (past 1 year old)
