By the way WantFreeDownload, GP6 has numbered tabs under the music lines, And you can even create the tabs that way =o

@HackerGuitarist There is more to the site than just the program. When I say navigate to what ever website, Then it gives the people an incentive to look for answers themselves. If I just put a link to the download link, then the user would either feel uncomfortable downloading it, (due to fear of malware) or not know much about where to find the answers to what they need. Although I still get silly questions, some people get the hint ;)

I downloaded a song,(ive been using this for about a year now) But how do I slow down the tempo of something, im learning a solo and I kNOW that some of the notes arent right I was going to correct them but its too fast

@ArtificialFlavaFTB2 Choose "play mode" from the "player" menu. There you can select player "simple mode" or "training mode." Simple mode allows you to slow down the song, and training mode lets you work on the song in increments. Great for a free program! Hope this helped!

everytime i try to download this for my mac, google chrome says that it can harm my computer. i'm afraid to download it i don't want my mac to get a virus. any help? cause i really want this program..

@RicardoYance Ricardo, for one, you have a Mac. Also, TuxGuitar has no reason to harm your computer. There is nothing to worry ;)

@zackydean Umm pentium 4... You'll be jamming. And yes it needs a sound card. Sound card configuration happens to be the most difficult part of Tux Guitar though

@ccoottyy123 Download the 1.2 JET version, if you like hearing sound ^^. I Downloaded GCJ first and it wasn't compatible, but JET works great. If you need a hand, the Forum mods Are Super fucking helpful lol.
