  • I hear this almost every night at my dads place >.<

  • I was at camp and my bunk was at the corner of the "porch" and the side where my head was was pretty much outside uncovered except for the top bunk. I woke up to that sound and I thot it sounded like people (cuz I'm scared of ghosts) and I immediately turned my bunk around

  • I started howling outside and the coyotes that were howling like this all stopped and I later howled again and we were communicating barking and howling back and forth so we then went around at night in the car and followed the howls but we didn't find them but I sounded like a wolf and a coyote a am very good at mimicking canine sounds we kept barking and howling back and forth it felt great

  • I live in a big city & there's a pack of coyotes that roam my neighborhood at night.........I run late & it's kinda scary when I suprisingly come across them

  • PS. My ex is a real jerk, so when I think back on this story, maybe I should have left him out there lol. But it's been getting bad,we hear them in the neighborhood,so we have to keep the dogs inside at night, and pets have been going missing. But it's really not their fault because here in Cruces, the land development is getting worse and the coyotes are running out of resources.I hate what humans do to these poor creatures, leave them with nothing and then wonder why their animals are diappearing

  • Heres a funny story. Back in October, me and my ex were hanging out by the Rio Grande, listening to music, talking and whatever. And all of a sudden we heard what sounded like an old lady yelling. So I got back in the car and turned off the music, heard that noise (coyotes) and locked the doors. My ex was still outside banging on the window so I would let him in. They were real close,he was so mad I felt more bad for the coyotes though, they have to come in close to town cuz of land development :(

  • Heard them and came here to double check... we've had goats killed with their necks missing from being eaten! Thats after 4 layers of hog wire, 8 run of barbed, and one at dirt. Yet they dig deeper & kill our livestock.. Cats & dogs too. Wish wild hogs liked eating coyotes!

  • @Aint1S that's happened to my neighbor the other day.

  • THESE THINGS ARE FUCKING ANNOYING WHEN I WATCHED THIS I HEARD THEM OUTSIDE I HEAR THEM EVERY NIGHT!!!!

  • this is exactly what i heard when i was recording this creepy house in Willow Springs, Illinois called The Dietrich Mansion and when i heard that sound at the time i thought those are probably coyotes howling and i check out this video and i was right. as long is wasn't demons or monsters i heard that night while recording the Dietrich Mansion!!!

  • stupid kids.

  • I hate coyotes they come real close to my house, they've killed about 4 of my past dogs, first two chihuahuas were eaten. Another was killed by a pack. Then we had two big dogs and one was killed and the other survived and he's still here yay. But yeah they howl every freakin day they're so annoying. I heard them just now like literally just outside my room and for some reason I decided to look it up lol

  • my what big teeth you have!

  • Thumbs up for Gunnerkrigg Court!

  • gonna go blast some coyotes tonight! they killing the deer

  • @JBlake0000 hell yeah!!!! BDD big dog down!!! 22-250 52grain soft points. drop em in there tracks

  • @JBlake0000 You must be poor hunters if you're stuck hunting coyotes. How sad, what a shame, too bad. While you stalk your fellow predator, I shall pursue deer and the feral hogs, as they are the better challenge and better meat.

    ps, Gunnerkrigg Court FTW

  • @TheVeR01 I've gotten a few deer in my life to bro, and other animals. if i told you my life story you prob wouldn't of been so ignorant to my positive reply

  • @TheVeR01 coyotes are a lot more challenging to hunt then hogs. and alot of times deer.

  • so sad... why make fun.... sad.... people are cruel to taunt... shame on you..

  • me and my dad saw coyotes at their farm. but my dad came out with a 12 guage and killed them :(

  • well the upside is that we can study them for reserch, but the bad thing is that we keep them in longer than neede and torment them to near death... i will work in a national park, where animals can run free, instead of a caging facility... i am so sad im human right now, at least i am one who cares about what we share our homw with, rather than hunting them for a stupid coat

  • @wolfplayer999 They are very beautiful, and very cute.

  • oh god I just heard some weird yelping outside from a distance, but didn't sound like a dog.. almost sounded like kids crying/laughing. I remember there are coyotes around here so I looked up this... exact same howl. they're still going too, and so close...

  • i really don't think we need coyotes in a zoo, I'm pretty sure most people know what they look like, Zoos are completely stupid, before there was internet i see the reason but now theres no need to put animals in cages. They don't deserve that.

  • these poor things are locked up and taunted by people. you can't cage a fucking coyote, they're WILD for a reason. People need to understand that we SHARE the earth and if you don't like coyotes eating your cats or little dogs KEEP THEM INSIDE!! My dog is only park coyote and escaped froim an animal shelter, COYOTE'S DON'T LIKE CAGES! therefore they scream. HUMANITY IS SO FUCKED UP, the government kills 90,000 coyotes yearly so they don't eat livestock. we play god.

  • @kylammayne it sunds more like crying than howling, i am no expert though

  • i wish my yellow lab could do that hahah

  • lost a couple of pets to these things.

  • here coyotes are as normal as stray cats and racoons. Isn't a zoo for wild animals lol

  • Theyre so cool...

  • Coyotes are beautiful but their howls will never match to that of a wolf

  • Coyotes eat the meat but leave the bones for God

  • @heavysurf1234 We live in Arizona and coyotes are practically part of our lives. We see them every day, but we leave them alone and they leave us alone. I know they eat rabbits, and there are plenty of them around here, but they never leave any bones or residue.

  • This is what I hear all frickin night!! Dam country ass town!

  • They sound like a chiuahua

  • i hear at least 10 coyotes in the wilderness every night do this, really spooky

  • heh, our dogs a coydog and he howl/whines like this around early spring all day outside.

  • Yay Fort Worth!

  • I used to hear this EVERY NIGHT! At first (I was young) I was all like "WOLVES!" But then when I got a little older I was like "STFU Or I'll personally beat your mother!"

  • i swear i just heard coyotes howl utside my bedroom window... like in the field right in front of my house.......... creepy!!!!! O.O |_|

  • @15ccml lol i heard em right outside my window at 3am

  • I heard this as a young guy camping in the woods alone with my dog on a crisp

autumn night just outside my cover... I will never forget it

  • I heard this at night for like 2 minutes, i was scared to fuck....xD

  • beautiful animals. where i live you can step outside and hear them howl all night long :) its peaceful.

  • The first time I heard a pack of coyotes, I thought it was a bunch of drunks.

  • @HeartlessSeitar Are you way out of the loop? (The answer is, yes, you are.)

A lot of people come to this video from a webcomic called Gunnerkrig Court, in which one of the main characters (named "Coyote") howls like a, um, coyote.

  • Coyote is so egotistical.

  • @Naota391 how so?

  • @HeartlessSeitar He thinks he's so wise! And clever. Also, he thinks he sounds cool when he howls. But he sounds like a high pitched dog that has short spurts of a howl.

  • @Naota391 are you high? the Coyote doesn't think any of this. The Coyote doesn't even know what those things are. Those are Human emotions. The Coyote uses his howl just like a wolf would- communication. Nothing more, nothing less. And, in my opinion, it's a nicer howl than a wolf howl so it's ego- if it existed (which it does not) would be appropriate.

  • Proposing your hate against gays all day long only leaves the evidence that you are a little dick consumer yourself. Your imaginary girl won't save you from that fact all your life. Better deal with it. You are getting nervous because your hill billy friends are getting suspicious about you.

But Daddy knows it...Do you miss him?

  • coyotes look tight

  • Stupid kids.

  • they're not howling they're scared of the noise

  • I got scared the first time I heard this at night. I thought something was killing my dogs.

  • Where is my .223???

  • @bigwhitee Your dislike for predators displays what you truly are, prey.

  • i live in tucson and it always sounds like that

  • In the summer the coyotes start as soon as it gets dark and they dont stop for a few hours. Its creepy at first because sometimes it sounds like little kids laughing and screaming.

  • there are a ton of coyotes at my dads house well behind it and i hear them all the time

  • i hear to much wolves at my backyard

  • i like both wolves and cyotes how they howl and stuff :3

  • Its funny how coyotes make a sound to make it seem that there's about 20 of them and its only a few. Heard them acouple of times and loved it.

  • What a majestic creature.

  • Those aren't howls...they're barks. Hear em all the time in back yard. The howls sound really different.

  • @monkeyfuzz3090 Howls are at the end.

  • They howl because they forgot to draw themselves in the sky.

  • @Zeramourn I have no idea why, but your comment made me smile from ear to ear. Thank you.

  • @pixelkatten - Maybe it's because you read Gunnerkrigg Court and subonciously noticed the reference?

  • @Zeramourn yes. yes they did.

  • @Zeramourn *Coyote laugh*

  • @Zeramourn .........what?

  • They are obviously howling because they're locked up behind cages.

  • Gunn... yeah no, wtf is that?

And aw, this makes me think they're in pain, lol ;(

  • @comanche861 I'm against putting a coyote into a cage and shooting it. That's cruel and stupid.

BUT I'm pro hunting if the coyote population's in excess, they're too close to a human population and a threat to them or pets, or if they are attacking livestock. And, locking them up sure as hell isn't bad if it helps ordinary human beings learn about them. Not everyone can go into nature to fuck a knothole in a tree... It takes a special person to do that.

  • @E5CAPEGOAT

Maybe you should apply for the special olympics then, if you're such a special person.

  • @Florrezmax Don't stalk me around you sick, twisted piece of shit. I will never date you, you never had a chance in the first place. I'M NOT INTERESTED IN YOU. HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU THAT?

  • @E5CAPEGOAT

    oh I will, asshole.

Thats what happens to facist pieces of shit.

    They get haunted.

  • @Florrezmax You're the one with Nazi genes, you bolivian queer stalker.

  • @E5CAPEGOAT

.....You won't laugh very much longer.

Badly enough for you I am not from Bolivia.

  • @Florrezmax Wow! SO you're a faggot poser! Now leave me alone before I block you so you can't keep messaging me you annoying queer.

  • this made my dog go nuts howling and barking trying to scare them off lol.

  • I wouldn't mind letting huntergirl117 loose in my yard and shooting her for fun.

  • i had the volume all the way up and head phones in. Dang i jumped.

  • God shut the fuck up nigga.

  • I'm suprised- I was unaware that coyotes had any value as zoo animals in Fort Worth. If anyone wants to see a coyote in North Texas, all you have to do is go outside with a small dog and a comfy waiting chair. I suggest the small dog be one that you greatly dislike by the way...

  • poor Coyotes ):

    they want to be free

  • i hate the fact that they lock up these animals

  • @comanche861 big deal if they're locked up, they get shot all the time.. and coyote hunting is pretty fun i have to say

  • @huntergirl117 yeah... and your'e probably some prick ass who's a hoot behind a gun.

  • @comanche861 hahah yea that's what you think

  • @huntergirl117 hahaha!! thats all you could come up with??? i guess i hit a spot there, huh?

  • big deal. they're fun to shoot

  • @huntergirl117 yeah and so are puppies but you don't see me bragging

  • @huntergirl117

Cuntagirl, maybe you get the enjoyment of being hunted for fun one day.

    See if you laugh then.

  • @huntergirl117 agreed

  • sounds like my gf in bed

  • listen while the coyotes howl

They go, whoo, yip, whoo, yip, whoo

Whoo, du, yip, whoo, yip, whoo, whoo

    Whoo, yip, whoo, yip, whoo

Whoo, du, yip, whoo, yip, whoo, whoo

  • After hearing this, my dogs are extremely confused.

  • @ElementOne3000 i know there crazy!!! lol

  • @ElementOne3000 same here!

  • Damn crack head dogs every night when I try to go to sleep I hear like 6 of these things in the back of where I live

  • My cat got scared when I played this. I had coyote's in my yard a few nights ago, they were really howling.

  • My dog started growling and tried to attack the computer screen.

  • I literally just heard a pack of coyotes maul a small dog a few yards away from my house.

  • Coyote's howls are annoying! LOL but I love em though!

  • the sound of a coyote is anoying lol . reminds me of my little dog , big mouth.. but a wolves howl is a thing every1 likes :D

  • (I came upon this from Gunnerkrigg Court too.)

Describing their howls as majestic is sarcasm. Their howls are more like giggling yips and barks.

  • iiiiigiiiuuuhhhh

  • This video probably wouldn't have even half of the views if it wasn't for Gunnerkrigg Court.

  • i live in the swamp and when i hear them they sound diffrent first loud howls like a worlf the fighting noises then they make this creepy wierd unexplainible sound after they have killed what ever they were attacking the just silence same thing every time its like 20 dog pack shit realy loud ive seen them before but strangely they did not attack they ran away

  • The coyotes werent felling threatened the were just barking at each other pretty much saying shut up.. And the coyotes wouldn't attack the humans they are more afraid of you than you are of them.. The only reason a coyote attacks a human is if it is feeling threatened and feels as if it has to protect young and can't flee or if it were starving and had no easy food options

  • @predatorhunter61 Funny thing is, I came across a snared coyote on my buddy's hunting ground when I was muzzleloader hunting and I was nervous as hell walking by it to get to my stand. 4 hrs later when I got down and was walking back I remebered my buddy didnt get off work till 3pm. I felt bad for the coyote and walked back to my truck and grabbed some pliers and actually reached under his neck after petting it to relax him and he laid down and let me loosen the snare and release him. NO JOKE!

  • Humans are so stupid. Oh, yeah, howling like an asshole to tease the wild animals who are behind fences. If they weren't behind that fence, they'd attack the people and I'd let them.

  • they sound like barking dogs.

  • funniest thing ever xD

  • What's Gunnerkrigg Court?

  • @SandylovesGunner In the event that this isn't sarcasm, you can check out the Gunnerkrigg Court webcomic at gunnerkrigg[dot]com

  • Did they get rid of those? I went today and didn't see Coyotes.

  • ppreettttttttyyy eyes :)

  • let the animals free in nature ........ don`t hold them in zoo

  • @GANGSTA100089 But then how would we hope to keep them imprisoned for our amusement?

  • @CuckooNow animals don`t need to be imprisoned , nobody deserve this ...... FREEDOM IS WHAT EVERYBODY NEEDS ..... FREEDOM FOR ALL ANIMALS and Beings , and creatures of the world ...... everybody needs to be free .

  • @GANGSTA100089 Including or excluding murderers, rapists and psychopaths?

Besides, everyone loves laughing and staring at animals in cages. I think you don't have your head on straight today.

  • @CuckooNow i don`t discuss about the psychopaths or rapist or murderers ...... and i think you are a psycho because you think it`s funny to see animals imprisoned . hello i have my head on straight today ....... but you ..... you sound like a maniac thinking it`s funny to hold animals in cages . ALL ANIMALS MUST BE FREE

  • @GANGSTA100089 I'm reminded of some of those extremist PETA members who kidnap house pets and release them into the wild. What about the animals who were born in captivity, then? They don't know how to survive in the wild, so if you release them they'll just suffer and die. You horrible immoral person.

  • @CuckooNow if don`t exist people like you to take animals in captivity ,, there is no need of release in wild , because they already live in nature .....also peoples who let animals in wild the people can make them learn to survive in nature ,,,, but i think you don`t watch TV , Example : Animals Planet , National Geographic ..... look there and you wiil see how people help animals to adapt in wild . So : you are a horrible immoral person . LET ANIMALS IN WILD PEOPLE

  • @GANGSTA100089 I didn't say it's impossible to readapt animals to the wild. It's just easier to process them into burger meat instead. Tastes awesome.

No, but honestly, i'm all for releasing animals into the wild- it makes it much more fun to hunt and shoot.

  • @CuckooNow it`s sad the thing that we need to hunt but ....... that`s the life cycle.......we have to hunt only for food .... not because it`s a funny thing .......hunting it`s a sad thing but is necesarry .

  • @GANGSTA100089 Then why don't you just become a vegetarian. Quite frankly, i'm pretty sure the people who hunt for food aren't very sad about it. And some people do infact hunt for fun, or for those cool trophies and rugs.

  • @CuckooNow the body needs meat and also need vegetals .... but that doesn`t make hunting a funny thing . Hunting Only For Eating Not For Fun And Trophies . Hunt Only If Is Necessary to get meat not for fun or trophies .

  • @GANGSTA100089 Hunting might be necessary if you live in some in some 3rd world country or something. If you live in a country that has stores where you buy the food, where the meat was raised on farms, then forget about it. Don't be ridiculous. I've never been hunting and I live fine.

  • @SandylovesGunner yes , hunting isn`t a good thing ...... just is necessary ..... the thing with farms is a fucked up thing ......they maybe let the animals free or make perimeters with more acres to make the animals feel free and then ..... sell them in stores as meat .it`s a sad thing but it`s necesarry like hunting....but keeping animals in farm it`s not a good thing .....they can make a farm letting to animals a large perimeter of more acres ......to let the animals in nature to feel good

  • @SandylovesGunner but i still think that all animals must be free .......and no one must hold them imprisoned or taking them from nature or freedom .... FREEDOM FOR ALL CREATURES AND BEINGS ....... all creatures must live in nature in freedom .......

  • sounds like 12 year old girls at a justin bieber concert

  • Tom sent me.

  • Tom sent me.

  • Why have them in a zoo?? They are very common.

  • By the way, fucking shoot the kids for egging the coyotes on. I hate when kids do dumb shit like that. They're so stupid.

  • Awh, they sound sad. :( they probably don't want to be trapped in a fucking zoo. -__- I hate the zoo. So cruel.

  • it must have its period .

  • @azbaseballplayer10 what's that got to do with anything?

  • so wise! and clever!

  • Once I heard one and I thought it was a demented chicken.

  • This happens to me last night I was woken up by the horrifying sound of it. They were really close

  • i would hate to be your neighbor

  • @SuperLindseyTaylor Did you read the description? It's at a zoo is texas.

  • Very majestic.

  • Oh, man! O__O That just proves that those weird yappy puppy noises I heard at night really were coyotes. o_o

    Cool. :D

  • I herd this tonight in my room while trying to sleep. Turned my light on and the stopped

  • Awww, they're so pretty. I heard these types of noises while my husband and I took an evening stroll by the woods. :)

  • Imagine listening to this all night while trying to sleep... o_____o

  • lmao thats what was just outside our tents

  • Thats what they sound like in my backyard!

  • @animalover1310 same here... it is so creepy sometimes!

  • FIYAHEDGUHL.

For some reason I always imagined Coyote with a London accent.

  • So this is what chihuahua's descended from..... who woulda thought.

  • This is 2 of the creatures. We have about 7. Now they do this on and on and on. It will drive you bonkers. They do this all night long.

  • FIRE HEAD GIRL indeed.

  • that's not very similar to Coyote!

  • I just started reading Gunnerkrigg Court a few days ago :D hi guys!

  • :( It saddens me whenever I see animals in the zoo

  • 'But look! I forgot to make a picture of myself!

I howl at them all the time in my sadness!'

    cue, howling.

    coyote = my favourite.

  • Gunnerkrigg ^_^

  • Am I right when I suggest that most people found this link through Gunnerkrigg Court?

  • @twentyfists

yes, but don't be saddened, that's just how traffic works on the net.

  • @twentyfists Yes you would be! XD

  • @twentyfists Aw yeah.

  • @twentyfists correct....

  • Gunnerkrigg, reporting in

  • Also, I just noticed that about 95% of the howls near the last 5 seconds of the video are kids imitating them.
