i doubt it goes 50mph and STILL has torque.. I clocked mine at 42mph with 10 tooth clutch and 50 tooth rear sprocket w/ no jackshaft.. It sucks in torque tho.

@TheSleepybone there should be a bolt or nut at the front of it, at the lowest point of the block, use a 10 mm wrench or socket and loosen it off, and let it drain. or the motor itself is only mounted with 4 bolts, just take the motor off in a min and open one of hte fillers and just tilt it

unfortunatly shucks is being bought out by O rieleys which is why i got the discount O rileys is discontinuing them...so you need to act fast...still the $599 ones are worth it and they can be heavily modified. their are a few disign and quality controll issues on em but the engines are bullet proof

I think i speak for the majority of the feedback posted...My son and i bought 2 of the Baja 196 cc dirt bikes and have enjoyed them for over half a year. Problems are definetly the footpegs which break easily and the plastic cover for the torque converter which both of ours got chewed out on the 1st day of riding (caused by the spinning torque converter) Also both of our rear tires are gone. We ride about twice a week but havent for the past 3 months as were in Canada. check all bolts every ride

its always funner to go fast on a slow bike than to go fast on a fast bike. and its 18mph stock 28mph slight mod and yes will go 50mph with the full modification...clutch governor exhaust and aircleaner

dude stock it goes 21 and if you loosen the thortle control tops you can get 25mph. if you mod it goes close to 35mph. the dont make that many parts for a minibike like that. pocket rockets have more parts

i drive my doodle bug at 35mph all the time for the last two years with no problems...the heat is basically a chinese ripoff of a subaru motorcycle motor. if your worried about it get a clutch so the engine speed is slower at higher speed. the govonor is a safety and legal issue. you would techniqly have to wear a helmet get a licence and mirrors if it were allowed to go its true potential.
