That's pretty lame dude, unless that water bottle was like 50 or more feet away. I don't understand why people think that the max of their system is calculated by max system volume + max amp gain. Basically any speaker will be damaged at that point, either from burning the voice coils or overdrawing on the amp and causing clipping.

Klipsch can be driven pretty hard, hell the factory reccomends it at their demo's. And as for the water bottle, you have to remember that the drivers are probably about 2-3 inches and are working very hard to move that kind of air. Klipsch makes some very impressive speakers for the money and will last for a long time.

That kind of result i can get of my System One speakers that only cost about 5000 swedish kronor. about 621 dollars. and a Klipsch audio cost around at least a thousand. But its worth it. The quality is really great!

I have to agree, I have Klipsch SB3s hooked up and they are amazzing and for the price new they were worth every penny (only $400). They pound for their size and match up well to my 15" Rockford Fosgates..which came as a shocker.

you know what there's no point, if you are going to be biased to the headphones, and due to the fact that you don't understand how sound travels around the room, there's no point in argueing. no matter what you are going to say that the headphones are better, your headphones distort anyways because it won't make the frequency response that some songs need, and when it attempts, it'll just distort, so maybe learn about headphones before talking. and yes, i agree iphones suck, but the klipsch dont

headphones can distort, all headphones use dynamic drivers, because obviously they can't make a giant balanced armature driver. but yea, headphones can distort. and, klipsch are 10 grand a speaker! even the highest quality speakers, the Klipsch Ultra THX speakers, for a 10.2 system, 8 sattelites, two centre channels, and two subwoofers is only $10,750 Dollars USD. Each speaker only goes for a couple hundred, highest to one or two thousand.

I personally prefer the older klipsch, I find them for be a little laid back and more tending towards the upper midrange. The newer ones seem a little to aggressive for me, though I never heard any of their higher end offerings. I would like to try a new pair with a tube amp though. wouldn't that be great? In the meantime I will stick with my Bowers & Wilkins :) You should listen to some older models, like Klipschhorns or cornwalls and see what you think of them, you might be suprised
