What about clucking with your voice? I have been told that it's not safe to do that if you are trail riding a lot....as if you teach your horse to move forward or hurry when you cluck, if you are riding and someone else clucks....your horse could react. Just wondering.
@sdcfish It's ok if you cluck with your voice. Well trained horse know the différence between you and the person beside you. I see that problem before and they are all horses with problems to start with.
I have a question. When leading my horse to the water crane he just TAKES off! He sees the water and is like YEE HAW! What should I do? He doesn't walk over me but just takes off in front of me to the water. I can't replace the water (I ride on a barn) and the horse doesn't have a halter but a band around his neck. I can't buy a halter either, for the same matter.
That's outstanding, never seen it done that way before. I've got the same effect through different methods but that's the most logical and easiest way for the horse to understand with actually an even better outcome. Really, really smart =P
Way to go John...........Thanks!

@SemperLupePR, I am not sure what you should do. I only know how to work with horses in halters. Why can't you buy a halter??

@HorseWishList Because I lease the horse, and the owner doesn't allow me to use a halter, don't ask me why..
