Someone through a rock? That's crazy. I know I got hit with a pretty hard snowball at one point, felt like it was packed with ice. I was filming and taking pictures and observing the whole time though, so I couldn't hide/retaliate.

My point was that an event which was made out to be a fun spontaneous exhibition of "DC Culture" was in actuallity not representative of the culture of DC. An observation that is indicative of a larger albeit unspoken problem in the city. Actually, one of the best group organisers on the field was an African-American guy. In the Northeast corner, he lead a battalion up the bulge of the fountain. You can't see his face in the video, but he's off to the left. Rallying the troops for the North Side..
