  • No, it's not skynet. It will not be conscious, only cognitive (and cognition is a very broad term, here you can understand it in it basic meaning). It will basically be a super sized neural network engraved physically on a chipset to get more speed.

    This is very interesting and will surely make a big progress in AI applications, but it won't be conscious at all.
