My mother was in her 80's and she loved Lucky Dube sooooo much, she would play his album over and over again. Her favorite song was "It's not easy" because it was my brother's favorite song, sort of his life story with women. Both Mom and my brother has passed on, so Lucky Dube song's remind me of them, each and everytime I hear it. Love this guy and his talent and what he stands for. Jah rule.
Lucky Philip Dube is a South African reggae and mbaqanga musician. his music started in the late 70´s early 80´s. he was shot to death in Johanesburg SA 18 october 2007.
he has allways been a promoter of peace and anti coruption, touching people across the globe especially in Africa. where i come from he was a greater name than even bob marley. one of the few succesful musicians who stayed true to a cause. kept his feet on the ground and never let him self grow away from reality.
