  • Zo, you communicate just about as well as any top radio guy. Seriously awesome points to think about. Why don't you have a radio show?

  • By the way, and I know I'm gonna take hell for this comment, but take it easy with the hand motions, slang & straighten out your hat. People would take this more seriously

  • @bherber (not meant mean, agreed with your other post) You knew it was coming, so here it is. Your point is valid, but your suggestions are the same as those for giving an oral report AT SCHOOL. You know, the kind of report that's informative, but everyone is HAPPY WHEN IT'S OVER because it was boring. What's appropriate for the office is lame on video. You want him to act and dress fake with a broom stuck up his a**? LOL! That'd be boring on YouTube. Zo's personality keeps your attention!

  • @CSWRB LOL. Maybe.... I don't really want a school report, but I'd rather see Eddie Murphy (still entertaining) or Randy Jackson give a speech like this instead of, oh I don't know, Jay-Z??

  • @bherber I love Eddie Murphy and Randy Jackson! Oh boy, how I wish they were conservatives.Maybe when they get older they might start thinking a little more like Bill Cosby. I don't know his political affiliation, but I like how Cosby says all people, regardless of race, should be taking responsibility for themselves. There might even be an enlightenment moment for Jay- Z , now that he is a father. We can always be hopeful. You take care.

  • This video has some good points, I think. But in all honesty, no matter how you describe capitalism, you will have people in this country that automatically hate anyone or anything that has "Republican" branded to it. I think you could describe a Republican idea to an liberal ignorant on the issue, get an agreement from the liberal, but if you tell him/her that it was a Repub idea, he/she will automatically reject it.

  • (cont.)

China is not considered capitalist because it employs free market principles far less than places like the US, but it is being capitalistic in the areas it DOES employ said principles. China is more capitalistic than it used to be. If you're going to take these positions, Zo, explain how you arrived at them.

  • Zo, sorry, but I think you're really off on this. I don't know where you got the idea capitalism is about taking outcome rather than income. I mean, if places like Sweden simply abolished all income tax and reacquired the wealth through sales taxes, while keeping everything else the same, would that change the country from socialist to capitalist? (cont.)

  • @ArrogantAmerican333 Zo is correct. Every nation on earth is a capitalist nation in a sense. Every nation uses capital. The Soviet Union had capital. The difference is should the capital be controlled by private citizens? Or should the capital be in the hands of government bureaucrats who decide how best it is spent? That is the real issue. If Sweden taxed people in any way whether sales or income, then redistributes to social programs they are socialist.

  • Comment removed

  • Capitalism an economic system characterized by private or corporate ownership of capital goods, by investments that are determined by private decision, and by prices, production, and the distribution of goods that are determined mainly by competition in a free market

  • I can say 'Liberals Suck' in fewer words.

  • You sound a little less angry than usual and a lot more coherent. Maybe you took my comment to heart ;)

  • Who is profiting on that weed in California? I might grow some weeds myself. HA

  • I think we all learned something here today. Zo . . . thanks for the new wrinkle in my brain!

  • Isn't that free-marketism?

  • Now wait a minute. Capitalism is a term invented by pesudo-economist and fraud artist Karl Marx. It has no real meanting in and of itself, except that ti isn't socialism.

    Oh! Zo - you're a genius.

  • @zvi303 The beauty is Capitalists took the term, and made it their own. It may not have meant anything when Marx said it other than envy and hate personified, but now it does mean something.

It's the word conservative that really doesn't mean much of anything... why would you want to conserve what we have right now?
