I don't feel this way about any other professional tennis players, but I feel like every time either Serena and Venus Williams walk out on the clay court holding their racquets, it looks like they are going to use it as a violent weapon with each menacing grunt. It would really give me some peace of mind if security would start checking their racquets periodically throughout the game for anything unusual. It's just an amazing coincidence that they happen to be sisters.

@simplypqz Her racquet tension is very low, which gives her power, but little control, which is why she doesn't fair well in most tournaments. She's either on or off. Serena has VERY high tension, which gives her control, but sacrifices power. Doesn't matter though because she makes up for it with her natural build.

PS: Kimiko Date is my favorite player of all time in many ways. Think about it. She was one of the first to take the ball on the rise and use her head to kick ass. Then she married a Formula One racer, had a child or two, then came back and is still nasty.

Serena was half trying in this match and still won. We all know there is 2 different Serenas: regular tour Serena and grandslam Serena. I would love to see these 2 play again and hope Serena heard Rezai's comment. As for hitting hard, clearly Rezai goes for every single shot-she's a ball basher.Serena doesn't have to hit every ball as hard as she can however, when Serena does decide to hit the ball (unlike this match) She can out hit ANYONE. I don't feel this way about any other professional tennis players, but I feel like every time either Serena and Venus Williams walk out on the clay court holding their racquets, it looks like they are going to use it as a violent weapon with each menacing grunt. It would really give me some peace of mind if security would start checking their racquets periodically throughout the game for anything unusual. It's just an amazing coincidence that they happen to be sisters.
