all i know is that i was there and there was well over 350 people and i know this coal is horrible to our health as well our future and enviroment as well i know this much wind turbines need energy to create energy and kills birds and are not what they say as photolatic solar panels which are very harmful to our air and future!

I was so happy to be at this rally! (my 1st, & most definately not my last). To me, stopping Cliffside is so much more than just stopping global warming. It's also about putting a halt to the pollution of air & water (I'm live a few miles from it) so Im especially concerned!) Who wants to be exposed to the toxic chemicals the plant will emit, such as lead, mercury, arsenic, etc?

Our country needs an energy revolution! And now is the time. Duke Energy CAN do better. We won't stop until it does!

Yes, I did indeed drive my 2000 Honda Insight Hybrid to the protest. And I am happily awaiting the installation of NC's only clean energy wind turbine in my home town of Boone, NC. So thanks, I'll keep my breaker on and rejoice when next month we will finally have some clean, green renewable wind energy here! I hope you will join me and support positive clean energy solutions for our great country.
