When the day comes that i support myself, i plan to set a side a bank account for insurance money. My idea is to not have insurance, but just have enough to handle anything that comes my way. Instead of sending 30 dollars or more to an insurance company i'm going to send it to the bank instead.
I don't have insurance! It is too much money for my family to afford! Amen! on the evil part, we had insurance until i got sick , and then my insurance claims that my sickness was pre-existing.

They are evil because government has enabled them to (note: government hasn't "let" them to, rather, government made them evil by giving them privileges).
In a true and normal free market world, insurance companies would worry about losing you as a client - not worry about having to give their clients the service they says they provide.
Oh and all my smoking related shit on facebook and youtube is privated, so yeeeeah haha. Unless they hacked mine or my friends' accounts, they're not seeing anything. I don't know who I mean by "they" here. I'm being theoretical.
One of the things I like about living in the UK. National Insurance. And no before you right wing shit stirrers start on me, it doesn't mean we become reckless and do not take care of ourselves or in any other way purposefully exploit the system to the detriment of the taxpayers. Okay binge drinkers do, and we have a crap drinking culture here, but they pay for it in alcohol excise duty. I'm not saying I'm ultra-left wing though. I hate the EU. It's undemocratic and leeches loads of cash off us.
you do have a good point, but I think we should still be honest about our lifestyles, otherwise its cheating even though the thing we are cheating on is bad..but thats just because i dont like to lie..im a good boy :)

@NegativeNumbers427 Nope, in fact it is very common for insurance companies to deny people because they have some sort of chronic illness or disease that will cost a lot of money to treat. It's pretty terrible actually. It really isn't the point of insurance, to not offer it to those who need it...
