  • The dad did have a good point when he asked why they were living there.

  • Ed was so old fashioned. "You raised him";I love it.

  • "The Sunshine Grabber" Was/Is a shithead called Barack Obama!"

  • That is why I am starting to believe the only solution to our "Mexican" problem to the South would be a total take over (invasion, if you will) of their country, making it our 51st state. Thus a total overhaul of their institutions, legal system , business/trade

and most importantly, their minimum wage. Thoughts ?

  • Hey!!! ya don`t vote in the enemy in the middle of a fu%$in Cold War, unless ya wanna sh&%storm ta blow up in yer face.

Chile voted Communist in `70 and they got slammed for it.

  • @RideMyBMW i'm sorry, but Chile was a democratic nation before 1973. they DEMOCRATICALLY elected Allende Salvador. Just because he happened to be a socialist, the U.S. government backed Pinochet in the coup de-etat. Dictatorship isn't better than communism. The U.S. government had national interest in overthrowing Allende AT THE EXPENSE of the Chilean people. I'm an American and I am not proud about the realist approach my government took in Chile.

  • "they DEMOCRATICALLY elected Allende Salvador. Just because he happened to be a socialist, the U.S. government backed Pinochet in the coup de-etat" -optimisticgrl

The guy got 30% of the popular vote (a clear MINORITY mandate). You can't start any kind of "social" revolution on 30% support. Thats for starters. Two, imagine if Mexico elected a pro Alkayda government. today...How far do you think they'd get

with that? Allende was a non-start from the get go.

  • @RideMyBMW the u.s. had two elections where the candidates who won the popular vote did not win the presidency. are you saying that the U.S. isn't a democracy? and if Allende couldn't start any form of social revolution, then what's the need to overthrow him? if he couldn't start a revolution, then Chile would still be a democracy. The U.S. just had to intervene because its national interest was at stake and put a disgusting, human rights violating dictator to power.

  • "u.s. had two elections where the candidates who won the popular vote did not win the presidency. are you saying that the U.S. isn't a democracy?" - optimisticgrl

Girl, are you 'Merican ? Read up on the difference between "Democracy" and "Republic". The Founding Fathers were clear about America NOT being a "Democracy" but rather a "Republic". Read up on it, seriously.

  • @RideMyBMW i'm not mexican and what does being mexican have to do with it? that was a racist comment. -____-. and yes, i am very well aware that the U.S. is a republic, hence representative democracy, hence electoral college. nevertheless, the U.S. is a democratic nation built upon democratic principles. there's a reason why we promote democracy in foreign countries.

  • (yawn) Don't be a child. Being Mexican has a lot to do with it. Questionable, fuzzy allegiances for starters. Millions of hyphenated Americans hate our country,

want to subvert our Republican values...Not to mention millions of vengeful illegals. Listen, America's traditions stem in large part from the British tradition of government , Mexico on the other hand, from the cleptocratic Spanish tradition. I'm just getting started...

  • @RideMyBMW You are out of your mind: vengeful illegals? LOL. America's traditions tem from British traditions? LOL. First, the US fought a revolution to defeat the British government and did not employ a monarchy or parliament. Second, if anything, America emulated Athenian democracy. And, you think the Mexican government takes from the Spanish? LOL.

  • "vengeful illegals? LOL. America's traditions stem from British traditions? " - jimbojamesIV

    Uh, yah...

  • @RideMyBMW You favorite a Sex Pistols video at the same time you defend and celebrate fascists such as Pinochet? Have you always been a confused stupid asshole or have you had to work real hard to get to your current level of confused asshole-ishness?

  • @bapyou " you defend and celebrate fascists such as Pinochet"

Dude, read my posts carefully and stop talkin´ out yer butthole.

  • "i am very well aware that the U.S. is a republic, hence representative democracy, hence electoral college" - optimisticgrl

Thank you. That's what's made our country the greatest nation ever in the history of the world. Democracies inevitably turn into dictatorships, majorities trampling minorities. Hence countries like Chile, built on faulty, shaky republican principles from the get go (Spanish tradition of gov.).

  • @RideMyBMW chile was a nice, little country before the US put pinochet in power. The US was responsible for the human rights violations in Chile and we didn't do anything until the 1990. You can blame Chile for its mishaps, but I blame the U.S. And what's up with all these racist comments against Mexicans? You must love Arizona.

  • "chile was a nice, little country before the US put pinochet in power" - optimisticgrl

Sure bout that ? Go ask the South American injuns or better yet, the millions that live off 50 cent an hour wages...Niiiiice lil' country alright. Chilean politicians wanted to play chicken with US foreign policy...so they got crushed. I blames their bat-sh%$ raving lunatic mad leaders. The U.S. ? Sh%$ girl, we gotta world to run.

  • @RideMyBMW Chile was Latin America's happiest country until the 1970s. It didn't have a lot of social conflicts. So yes, compared to its Latin American neighbors, Chile was doing well. Sure it wasn't perfect and there were struggles between the rural and urban areas. but i can tell you that it was a hell a lot better before Pinochet was in power. The US has a country to run, not a world. If it were running the world, then it would have intervened in Rwanda. I am tired of your supremacist.

  • "Chile was Latin America's happiest country until the 1970s"- optimisticgrl

Girl, wikisearch Chile. Read up on its history : Mass indian killings, uprisings,

dictatorships, state led oppression, civil wars, expansionist wars, etc. All this waaaaay before 1970. As Americans (are you really 'Merican?) we should all understand just two words regarding Latin America : Monroe Doctrine.

  • @RideMyBMW LMAO WIKIPEDIA IS YOUR SOURCE? my sources are college textbooks. i'm not "laraza." and just to let you know, i'm not hispanic. i'm a college student who is not proud of the way my country carries out its foreign policy. your ignorance has made you blind to the suffering of the world. and supremacists like you are contributing to that suffering.

  • Dont knock The Wiki College Jane, better than most biased college textbooks anyway...so, go do your reading assignment first, theeeeen we'll talk bout who's screwing who. Awlright ?@optimisticgrl

  • @RideMyBMW when you have two people who are equally educated engage in a debate, it's interesting and intellectual. when you have a debate between an educated person and a person who uses wikipedia as a source, it's a waste of time. i hope you're able to sleep well at night knowing that you're a horrible person who has no regard for human rights. and yes, this debate is over.

  • @optimisticgrl LOL! Run LaRaza run! Nuther one bites the dust...

  • @RideMyBMW and the fact that you're asking whether or not i'm American, implies that you think all Americans are supremacists and believe in world domination. But not all Americans are like you. Unlike you, there are Americans who can tell right from wrong and is able to sympathize with others.

  • @RideMyBMW Even your nametag gives you away. You are a perfect example of the horrid American. The Monroe Doctrine is an atrocious bit of imperialist/fascist propaganda.

  • @RideMyBMW and who were these so called mad leaders you're referring to? Pinochet? yea, we put him in power...

  • Are you "LaRaza" by any chance ? You sound brainwashed- optimisticgrl

  • @RideMyBMW continuing... democracy is great and the U.S. should promote it, but at what cost? out realist approach in foreign policy neglects human rights in other countries. when thousands are being taken as political prisoners and getting shot left and right, then there seriously something wrong. human lives are important.

  • @optimisticgrl, I disagree, let them Banana Republics canabilize their people...Chile was a ticking time bmb, a civil war waiting to happen. Communists v. Fascists. We should have just let them duke it out...Nicaragua style, huh ?

  • @RideMyBMW that's messed up... i bet you're a hard core conservative realist.

  • @RideMyBMW You are completely insane if you believe what your write.

  • disgusting to see such cynicism from the us government those days, kissinger must be sentenced ,aren't you ashamed sir??????

and my stupid country is here so passive not demanding justice for this and so many other cases,if Piñera comes president all of this we'll be once again held up

  • Oh my God! Ed thought Charles and wife are living poor because they stay in a modest little house that looks much better than the house where I and my family lives? He indeed is arrogant and conservative America. Thanks for posting this movie. I am here because I searched for this movie. I tried piratebay but no success there. I was amazed it is in you.tube. Thank you, thank you.

  • But he slowly discovers truth about his son and his country...

  • listen right at 3:00 : 'It's only with the heart that one can see rightly. What is essential is invisible to the eyes': 'On ne voit bien qu'avec le coeur.L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux'.Le Petit Prince of Antoine de Saint-Exupery is one of my favourite book, one of the beautifulest I've ever read in my all life. What an EMOTION listen this in inglish in that movie. Thanks so much to you to have posting it!!!And what a movie...everybody should seen this.I think i'm gonna buy it.THANKS A LOT.
