Nice footage again chris! Reminds me in 2000 when i rode the starlight from santa barbara to SLO, great time. I remember it meetin a UP freight at the station, when the freight action was good on the coast line.

@andross51 Thanks...ya you're right about the freights. It was way better back in the day! I want to ride the Starlight so bad, I think that would be a cool scenic trip

@AmtrakCal462 haha that was the only time i ever rode the coast starlight! I lived in SLO from 96-2003 and saw SP's last days and amtraks H3's last days up there. And when UP ran tons of freights through there in the early 2000's
