  • Oh man, Matthew, you just proved a scribe made a boo boo on one letter and later scribes copied that error. I wouldn't say this is sufficient to say that the Greek was copied from the Aramaic.

  • @TheGenuineChristian uh, you would have to prove the Later reading of the Greek kamilon, to be earlier than Kamelon (camal) for there to be just a boo boo of a scribe from Greek. so far, Aramaic-Greek is the only way this mistake can happen.

  • @Mencel89 Well Matthew, you have to consider that the gospel writers got their information from someone, and perhaps they got it from an Aramaic source, not that the gospels themselves were written in Aramaic. =)

  • @TheGenuineChristian uh, even that theory proves an ARAMAIC ORIGINAL.

  • @Mencel89 A source for a story, not that the gospel was written down in Aramaic. =)

  • I heard another theory for this, and it makes perfect sense for just the way it is worded in Greek. Not saying it is impossible.

  • @TheGenuineChristian I would LOVE to hear the theory.

  • I heard a prosperity preacher say "The Eye of the Needle' referred to a special entrance into the city that people with camels entered through or some such nonsense LOL

  • @1021kb yea, that's one of the theories some apologists use... I would just like them to draw me a map to that gate. #WINK
