این شعر کلیپ ها ثمره ی همه ی حرکت های آوانگارد طی دهه ی هفتاد است , زیرا یکی از اهداف اصلی نظریه پردازی شعری در این دهه ,دژانره کردن متن بود . پیش تر خود عبدالرضایی در کتاب جنجالی شینما, با استفاده از عکس های افشین شاهرودی و کاریکاتورهای اردشیر رستمی و استفاده از ژانرهایی مثل نمایش نامه, فیلم نامه... سعی کرد, متن چند ژانری را به اجرا بگذارد .

اما شعر کلیپ های مربوطه,شکل خلاق و نهایی این پروژه ی شعری ست . به طوری که اتحاد تمام ژانرهای دیداری , شنیداری و متنی به فرماسیونی تازه منجر شده است که تحت عنوان هیچ ژانری قرار نمی گیرد. به عنوان مثال , در شعر کلیپ تیمارستان , صدای متن و شکل آن با توجه به کنش سمیوتیک واژگان, مخاطب را دعوت به مشارکتی خلاق در تالیف دوباره ی متن می کند و کلمات شعر به عنوان نشانه های نمادین و قراردادی در شکل دیداری متن(کلیپ) بدل به نشانه های شمایلی می شوند.در خوانش و بینش و گوشش کلیپی چون تیمارستان
