theres no such thing as education for film making! all you need is common sense and a vision! it doesn't matter how the way you make a film it's your own that makes it a film!!! GEEZ!

@WLuico Yes there is such thing as an education for filmmaking and I think a lot of universities around the world would agree with me. There is no need for an education to 'make' a film, but your film will be significantly worse than had you gotten an education. There are the obvious forms of education like learning the equipment and technical aspects of... well there's too much to list, but studying filmmaking can also help guide your creativity and learn from what's been done. I could go on.
