the red lasers sold at drugstores are 1mw and a 5mw green laser is 60times more powerful than the 1mw red one because of the wave length. so your 95mw laser is porbably many hundreds if not thousands of times brighter than a traditional red laser

Wrong, it's pumped by 350 to 450 mW laser diode (the 808nm Infrared ones - it's the practice to pump it harder because the Nd:YAG absorbs most light, leaving the KTP with 105mW 1,046nm laser - if you would use the pump diode itself, it could be strong enough to char the fingernail, and set the wood on fire.)

Surprisingly, it did not burn through his fingernail. It did leave small marks, but we didn't take pictures of them. I'll shoot another video of this laser popping balloons or something. I'll also show it in comparison to my really nice red laser pointer. The difference is shocking. I'm not too interested in PROVING he was really hurt (he and I know it was 100% real), but sounds like you guys have more interest in the laser itself.

Ive been inadvertently hit in the eye with a green 5mw laser many times. Basicaly in 60 seconds you may have retinal damage. But what classifies a laser as class IIa is that as long as you dont stare into it, you will be perfectly fine.

that was one hundred percent acting, for those who have never taken a Physics class in their life green lasers are not stronger than red lasers the only reason that there are green is because of a different gas in between the 99.9 percent reflective mirror and the 100 percent reflected mirror (that is how a laser works) which causes the color the red laser for example are helium and neon based
