Love your channel! I was wondering, do you have a recipe for "house chicken" it's usually with mushrooms and it's got a spicy sweet sticky sauce on it, sort of clear and orangeish, also has a lot of chili flakes in it. I love it soo much and a recipe would be great!! Any help would be much appreciated :)
I made this dish exactly as in the video but with a bit of extra sauce and its addictive! I used to eat thisdish in Malaysia at the Chinese restaurant.
When I saw this video I made it once and then every day for a week. Some friends of mine tried it and they too got addicted.
Yum! I am uploading a pork chow mein this week. I fried my noodles in a little oil in my cast iron pan. My sauce is slightly different but we have the same concept. Take care!
Your such a lovely cook and awww who cares if u say just like that a lot, its cute anyway XD Anything i made from your videos just turned out perfectly delicious, so im happy u share all your skills with us!
Hi ,i love all your recipes im from ireland my friends and family love when i dish one of your recipes up. I would love to see a satay recipe from you if you dont mind? Thanks
mk i got a question abt this reusing the oil after u fry it, isn't that unhealthy? (not to say i wouldn't just to get in a new flavor) but i know some oils like olive are bad to refry, but that doesn't mean they all are bad to reuse does it?
this is my fav dish of chinese food other than shrimp fried rice... talk abt someone getting fat before leaving the table.. xD
@MysticSonic007 I have never heard of it being unhealthy and a lot of people I know have done this for years. There is a point however when you do need to discard the oil. Usually it begins to have a funny smell; and if it is really dark in color than it is probably too old :)
Just what I was looking for, Great and Clear video, loved it. Thanks dear :) oh..not that it's important but u used a lot of "ands" in the video keke.

Hi...great video! Question? Is there a reason why you did not velvet the chicken? I watched your velvet video which was awesome. I hate doing it as it makes everything a little more time consuming and uses more oil...but it makes everything taste so much better. I wish they sold chicken that was already velveted! :) It really is night and day.
Hi, what do you do with the oil that you've used for deep frying the noodles? Do you put it in a container for other recipes or is that not good to use?
@NZemerald1 Hi- This is a great question. I do use the oil again and I try to use it three times, depending on how dirty it gets. I also have a funnel with a filter that filters out the bits and pieces of food. I usually let the oil cool and then funnel it into a large plastic container. I store the oil that I used for seafood dishes separate from the oil I used for other frying since the flavor of seafood often infuses into the oil. Thanks for writing and watching :)
Good ques -Noodles are cheap about $2. Peanut oil can be expensive ($15/gallon) but you can sub vegetable oil (2.50/btl) instead. Chicken breasts are often on sale for $3 or so a lb. Garlic salt I always have on hand and can be found for $1. Frozen veggies always go on sale for like $2. Cornstarch and stir fry oil I have on hand too, but are about $3 and $4. So in total its less than $20, can feed at least 3 people with extra oil, garlic salt, cornstarch, and stir fry oil for other recipes :)
well then exactly what kind of noodles are u supose to use???? i have used egg noodles and rice noodles (the clear ones) and it doesnt come out right!! dont take it wrong the taste comes out real good just the texture dont feel right at all so wat kind of noodles am i supose to use please???
thats da sad part those noodles i bought em at a huge korean market and all the employees there speak no english like for me to ask. well i guess i'll continue searching for the right noodles
very good !!! I have a question... do you know how to make almond duck? is duck in squares with a sweet and sour dark red sauce with almonds on top with some green and orange sweet like jelly slices. Thank you very much for these recipes you are great..
before anything lemme thank you for this recipe with a very wonderful presentation..thanks a million...i hve a quick question... i found another recipe for the 'sauce' which included cornstarch soysauce oyster sauce and chicken broth..does it matter or is it okay to hve different version of sauces...(sry..i hve zero understanding on chineese cooking.. :))
Personally I think your stir fry noodle recipe looks great, something I would not mind trying. Looks really easy too. For me, being a wheelchair user every cooking task has to be easy so it doesn't tire me out too quickly. I will be following your cooking.
No - I was actually born and raised in NJ - But I've been in the south for about 10 years now. My whole family still lives in NJ, so they all make fun of my accent :)
tubedude: The thing I love about her recipes is that you can take previous dinner leftovers and make these dishes. For example, if you made pork roast then you could cut it up and add the sauce and veggies. I would think Angel Hair pasta will work too. I purchase at big discount chain stores (little by little) basic ingredients (ie. soy sauce, vinegars..etc.) I am sure she can tell you good ones to start with. :) These recipes have help me save money.
This looks great. Nice touch with frying the noodles. Never tried that, usually boiled noodles then just stir fried for a few minutes. Will try the fried noodle route. Also have to get some peanut oil and flavour up some oil to make stir fry oil. Another great tip.

It will be "edible" but it won't taste even remotely authentic. You really want to buy noodles that are specific for making chow mein.
