much as i like the song i dont call this "real country" most of you kids wouldnt like REAL country if you heard it. back when this was new people still complained that it had too much pop influence. And back in the 80's people complained that country wasnt "country" thanks to Hank Jr.

I'm just going to enjoy some good MUSIC because thats all it is. if i want COUNTRY i'll go listen to the Outlaws or Chris Ledoux. Country isnt dead, it just evolves with time. todays brand is closer to its roots.

@Bayybeegirrrl There are hundreds. Listen to any Tracy Lawrence Album. Time Marches on, Alibis, Strong, The Coast Is Clear. You can't go wrong with him. Alan Jackson always puts out great stuff. George Strait's Blue Clear Sky is fantastic. Trace Adkins First album is his only good one. Toby Keith's Blue moon album is unbelievably good. That before he went die hard republican. Not that there's anything wrong with Repubs but when he did it it just became annoying.

Im not too big on country but i used to listen to it alot with my grandpa when i was younger. Dont listen to it now because its a bunch of posers wishing they knew the true meaning of country. Theres no more stories of love and heartbreak and finding God in tragic moments in life etc. Its all about mainstream now and having a little dance to back it up. but as a musician i love listen to songs and ballads like this and playing them on my acoustic. really calm and reminds me of the old days :)
