@PomTree97 One of the best zombie movies of all time, Return of the Living Dead started that stereotype. In the movie, the zombies do only eat brains, they can run, they can talk if they really want to and also they are unkillable, unlike the classic Romero zombie stereotype where they easily die from a hard blow or bullet to the head. Return of the Living Dead bends all kind of classic zombie rules but it is still in my opinion one of the greatest zombie flicks of all time.

Actually, the ability to run would depend on how decayed they were. A freshly turned person would still have that capability (as long as there in no rigor mortis). I didn't know it at the time I made this, just checked to comfirm...I'm not familiar with those "13th" films...that particular image just happened to come up on a "zombie" image search i did looking for lots of Z pics when I first was throwing this together, looked covincingly Z to me...there's also a duplicate image from "Dead Rising" that I didn't catch until later...oh well, c'est la vie...never said I was a film maker!

thanks for the comments...man, there are TONS of zombie films out there..."Severed:forest of the dead" is a good fairly recent one...I really like an older one that goes by a few different names, but the one I have is titled: "Let sleeping corpses lie"...my advice, check out some of the myspace "zombie fan" groups...lots of opinions on faves there!
