Well I'm 14 now when I was in second grade my dad was deployed to Afghan for 11 months and I remember the day after he left I Ceres during school because on boy told me he had died and I believed him when he had surprised me when he woke me up at my bed side I remember crying for hours now he is retired from the air force and while he was in comand of his platoon not one man died thank you for all your service and for this who never made it home will never be forgotten

Fathers being pulled away by a military obligation is honorable and will aways be a part of the human condition. This video more makes me think about the role of fathers. So often now in our single mom culture they're marginalized and and said to be unnecessary...even destructive. Look at that child. A year's worth of needing his Dad pouring out of him. A father's investment in his son evident. A Father is and always will be ESSENTIAL.
