  • Beautiful! Lol = )

  • @colieswo and that day is either yesterday, today or tomorrow. :)

  • Conservatives fail to see the parallels between slavery, interracial marriage, and same-sex marriage and that based on this they will lose yet again.

  • This is brilliant. Kudos to whoever made this. =]

  • @colieswo in some countries they already r:)

  • If someone in the 1950's/60's has made the "PSA", this is *exactly* how it would have looked... Fast forward 50+ years and it's the same crap.

  • This shit is not funny,..

  • @6Bene Why not?

  • @Chamath5 You made me LOL, my good sir. -/sarcasm-

  • this is how homophobes will be viewed in just a few decades

  • @thewhatsit104 Agreed. In fact, in many places they already are. :) Support for same sex marriage is increasing at a more rapid rate than support for interracial marriage back in the 60's. It's only a matter of time.

  • This is great.

  • New York just legalized Same Sex Marriage!

Marriage Equally Is Coming! The Sun Is Rising!

    FUCK YEAH!!! =^_^=

  • Neat! And right on target! Remember, Coretta Scott King and Mildred Loving (of "Loving v. Virginia") both stated gay rights were a definite part of CIVIL RIGHTS... and who isn't for civil rights, for God's sake???

  • wow

  • Great vid. Don't these people know they have been trying to block progress, thereby slowing America down.

  • Dear lord, now picture gay interracial marriage! Chilling, isn't it?

  • wow this really made the point far better than even the professional parody with the celebrities, all they did was ridicule, which the original commercial absolutely deserved, but u can ridicule just about anything. this really drew an original analogy. great parody!! 5/5 if they still had those^^

  • I'm the product of an interracial marriage and as such, I fight like hell for same sex marriage.

  • @GinnyStoleMyMan Thank you!

  • @GinnyStoleMyMan

    Bravo!

  • @GinnyStoleMyMan I couldn't be more thankful to you, although I live in a country where the first ever gay marriage took place ( in modern history), people here don't see it as an odd ( to say the least) thing and as a gay male myself I don't want to get married! If you are heterosexual I applaud you even more, because gay people tend to forget that there is a whole world of straight people striding along with the GLBT community!

  • @gyqz I'm proud to stand by you. Though I can't say I'm straight. I thought I was when I wrote this though. ^^"

  • Beautiful <3

  • (continued from last post) William McKinley : ALL were KKK members. (Yes, some of them were Republicans.) The difference between the Democrats and the Republicans is that the (Original) Republicans changed their minds about about racial segregation. The Democrats NEVER did. (see Affirmative Action).

  • @ReligiousSkeptic Your claims are amusing, considering the only sources available to back them up come from the KKK itself. Hearsay at that.

The republicans changed their minds about racial segregation? Proof please. And I hope you're not calling Affirmative Action proof that Democrats are against segregation, when AA is just another racist agenda.

  • @antipryzm if AA is so racist then why do all the major racist organisations hate it so much and use it in propaganda to attack black people?

  • @AussiePolitics Just because they're morons who hate people based on skin colour or religion doesn't make them wrong in this. I'm not referring to the US federal Affirmative Action codes, I'm referring to those by individual States that forces companies/schools to take race into account and promote/accept minorities over whites even if under qualified. Tell me that's not racist.

  • @antipryzm while AA is a misguided attempt to try and improve conditions for black people, the people who are proposing those programs are not motivated by racism. stupidity and ignorance most probably, but its a bit stupid to brand a whole political party as racist segregationists because they believe they are helping minorities.

  • @AussiePolitics The road to hell is paved with good intentions. A program does not have to be motivated by racism for it to be racist... putting one person above another based on their race is racism, plain and simple.

  • @antipryzm actually racism is the belief that genetic factors of race are the primary determinant of human capabilities. the whole point of AA is to give other races an opportunity so they can show that their capabilities are just as good as any other, since statistically speaking black people are a lot worse off economically and also in terms of education.

so, no, it is not racist, just misguided.

  • NOM = Owned beyond recognition

  • Just pointing out the irony that it was the republican party responsible for things such as the Civil Rights Act, women's suffrage, abolition of slavery, and abolitioning biracial marriage laws.

And now christian nutjobs are suckering other conservatives into this "traditional" marriage bullshit. Way to ruin the party christians...

  • @antipryzm Basically what happened was all of those "southern white Democrats" (who were politically NOT racially(for all you far-left dems. and repubs. out there) descended from the Confederate States of America and nationwide FDR / Woodrow Wilson/Harry Truman DEMOCRAT supporters who joined the Republican Party after the 1960's. FDR had communists as friends. (66 million killed in Soviet Union. Over 100 million killed in China.) Wilson, Truman, Waren G. Harding, (continued in next post)

  • This little film is perfectly on-target.

  • I cannot believe people here support that sickness. Oh well guess there will no choice but to burn every last one of you.

  • Thank you for this.

  • i like how u used the kkk hat symbolically, how it parallels the "church group punished by the government", when really its just a hate group (perhaps not as violent/destructive as KKK, but just as evil nonetheless)

  • This is pure win...

  • I love the NOM ad parodies!

  • Brilliant. I've seen a lot of these Storm parodies, and this is definitely one of the best.

  • there's a a storm gathering, the clouds are dark, and the winds are strong, and its pushing air that smells like garbage up my nose, and I am afraid.

Those who advocate for bigotry may succeed in actually ending marriage and love period, and make society even more stacked against love and respect and perminance than it already is

we may become a society that dont give a shit about the children, and go around exploiting them on TV, just like the NOM does.

    but we have hope,no on 8 !

    lmao

  • Great parody, and then bigots wonder why normal people don't like them.

  • two thumbs up, great job

  • 0:30 im part of organization punish by the government because we cant support interracial marriage

    ROFL

  • This is stupid however it is the correct way to parody something unlike the way

amoxtlacatl parody his. you should give them some tips.

  • Very clever parody! Great job!

  • Incredible, awesome... I mean, dead on. Thanks for this. It makes a difference.

  • Great video edit what did you use for it. Looks like CrazyTalk. Good Job very professional looking

  • @waveali

Thanks for the comment, I used After Effects, Photoshop, and GarageBand for the music.

  • That's, almost exactly right.

  • Its like the same thing

  • lol

  • This actually makes me want to cry.

  • i get the message here

nice analogy, i always thought the opinion on homosexuals was very similar to the whole racial thing in the 60s

  • fantastic :-)

  • Whats next? Homosexuals??? HAHAHHAHA

  • The best NoM parody I've seen.

  • I couldn't help loling at the "I'm part of an organization punished by the government because we can't support interracial marriage." with the guy holding a Ku Klux Klan hood. XD

    Or <8D|

  • LOL..That is AWESOME!

  • lol

  • this is good because it shows that they aren't saying anything specific in the original nom ad. You pretty much said exactly what they said but replaced gay with interacial.

  • Brilliance.

  • GOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!

  • "It's 1960..." XDDD

  • ZOMG! So freaking awesome! I am so glad you went there! Sooooo nailed it dead on! Thank you!

  • Yeah, you pretty much nailed it, homophobia and racism, different groups, same mindless prejudice. Good video I'm not sure many people see it like that. an alternate title could be 'Same shit, different year' well done!

  • Excellent video! And yes, these things were being said back then.

  • @flcadam

First, your points are irrelevant to the message this video is conveying, which I'm not sure you grasp.

Second, they are untrue. Rome, for example, allowed and recognized same sex marriage up until 342 AD.

Third, even if they were true, I see no reason to continue upholding bigoted laws simply for tradition's sake.

  • @flcadam

    1. The video is not meant to draw similarity so much to the issues themselves, but to the opposition against them.

    2. Same Sex Unions in the Greco-Roman World, by John Boswell, and The Marriage Revolution in Late Antiquity by Matthew Kuefler. It's common knowledge that homosexuality was part of normal culture in those societies.

    3. Like it's not bigoted to not expand the definition of "men" to include blacks and women? ...and how does legalizing gay marriage affect society's children?

  • @flcadam

Um..I'm sorry, no society has EVER recognized same-sex marrige? You ever heard of Belgium, Netherlands, Canada, Spain, Sweden, South Africa, or Norway? Do your research.

  • and now Mexico city!!!

  • @flcadam Um, yes it is bigoted! All the arguments used against my RIGHTS are the VERY same. Distortion of statistics by saying "homosexuals have a higher rate of child molestation", "we'll be forced to teach about gay people in schools" and I say. Really? Because your kids didn't learn about gay people from your bigoted pastor preaching about it or those million dollar ad campaigns you been putting everywhere advertising the existence of gays?

  • @flcadam

Wrong, even the early Christian church approved of same sex marriages.

  • @flcadam Actually the catholic church used to perform same sex marriages in the middle ages.

  • @flcadam

It's time for that to change! LOL

  • I think you mean ism.

  • OUTSTANDING... and actually true, that was what was said back then... Keep up the great work

  • great video.... very intelligent come back!

  • Actually, MsGuyFox, you are spot on. Obama got his and could give a shit about anyone else. He is just more of the same. When I hear him talk, it's like Bush all over again, only difference is, Obama says nothing better than Bush ever could.

  • gosh, the counterattacks are being AWESOME! HAHAHA

  • Someone needs to send this to The Obama...

  • lmao...sad

  • that was great but i think they all should of donned their hoods n robes for the finale.

  • Haha, great idea.

  • @FireproofAshes I wish you could do my idea for an "anti-GRAY" marriage joke campaign. Gray meaning old peoplle. That way the same stupid arguments can be made about it not being natural... and it's pointless if it's not for having kids. It would be a funny parody.

  • @Jaguar7444 A shambling, forgetful storm just doesn't have the same punch somehow. Just ask Florida.

  • AWESOME!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!!

    this so funny!!!

  • awesome job!

  • amazing parody

  • "If Coloured are allowed to marry Whites, what's next? Homosexuals?"

    Awesome ^^

  • LOL!! heheheheheh

    this is fucking funny!

  • lol

  • dam i love all these storm gathering parodies

  • 6 stars out of 5

  • omg, I was literally about to say I wish I could give 6 stars.

  • awesome video.

  • Yep, that pretty much sums it up, gay marriage is a civil rights issue too.

  • thee estorm ees kumeeng.

  • why do you watch videos or read books whan you are not able to work it out by brain??

  • justgetout i love your youtube name because it's true JUST GET OUT OF THIS CUNTRY AND TAKE YOUR BIGOTED IGNORANCE WITH U!!!!

  • uh huh sure i hate to break it to u but already we are getting our rights and nothing u can so or do can stop us

  • How are they inconsiderate of real marriage? They simply want real marriage as well. You're evil.

  • this.. is genius! xoxo coco

  • Justgetout, "gay marriage definitely does infringe on the sanctity of marriage"

    sanctity (n):

    1: holiness of life and character : godliness;

2: the quality or state of being holy or sacred.

Except, there is no such thing as "the sanctity of marriage". Marriage is basically a contract between two individuals to join their separate estates and to clarify matters of succession and inheritance -- a civil arrangement to organize assets. That is why it is the state that issues marriage licenses.

  • Whoa, that's a perfect argument. I'm afraid I'm going to have to steal your little comment from time to time when I meet those fucking bigots.

  • your comment is perfection in text form..I do believe i shall be stealing this from time to time as well if you don't mind :)

  • EXACTLY the same arguments were made against miscegenation (i.e., interracial marriage) that are now being made against gay marriage. Until the Supreme Court decision in 1967 in Loving V. Virginia, interracial marriage was banned and classified as a felony, and violators were subject to fines and imprisonment. At the time, almost all states had laws against miscegenation.

  • Wow that is shocking, but it proves my point that banning interracial marriage is much worse than not recognizing gay marriage.

If gay people want to live together, they can if they want. I am not aware of any fines or imprisonment for gays who live together as couples.

  • Comment removed

  • Justgetout is just silly. However, I would say that the difference is interracial was just another way of segregating races and so they made up "miscegenation". Gay marriage is the only issue here. Their religion says it's wrong so they hold onto that crap. Ofcourse, in orthodox Judaism you can only marry another Jew. So, what you said what might also be a religious bias. Dunno.

  • FYI, until the Supreme Court overturned Lawrence v. Texas in 2003, same-sex relationships were, in fact, illegal in at least 37 states, and were classed as felonies subect to fines and imprisonment.

2003 was just 6 years ago.

  • Perfect!!!!

    You, sir, are a genius!

  • Excellent!!!

  • 5 stars

  • BRILLIANT!

  • well it does say in the bible that you can't marry an ex-slave.

  • Unfortunately, most of those opposed to same-sex marriage twist themselves into knots to deny any parallels between gay marriage and interracial marriage. They have their fallacious arguments, and they're sticking to them. I wish it were otherwise, but I'm afraid that good videos like this will end up only preaching to the proverbial choir.

  • Great Work! This needs to go viral!

  • awesome
