@sinsarcasmo Thanks so much! Last winter I gave all the bamboo a "haircut" so that the ice and snow wouldn't bend it down and create a road hazard (which happened the winter before last, unfortunately). It worked beautifully and the bamboo got thicker and lusher this year as a result of the pruning.
Beauty!! I love Bamboos and I grow many species. I'm not sure what growing zone you are in, but that does look alot like Golden Bamboo or possibly Yellow Groove. I like bamboo because it's evergreen.
