Youve wasted your money. Bose is one of the worst companies to buy speakers from. Your paying for hype, not quality as this video and the users complainign about their bose systems as well.
No the reason why ur having that issue is because with a Ipod u need to be plugged into either channel 1 or 2... since ur plugging the ipod directely in. channel 3 and 4 is if your actually using the tone match or a dj system or something that has a built in amp. channel 1 and 2 are built in tone match so it will take the signal coming and do what it suppose to do... channel 3 and 4 doesnt have a built in tonematch preset!
@dj007cdj the ipod was only plugged in because I didnt want to set up the tone match/laptop in order to show what was happening with the dropped volume. Problem was solved with a new speakon cable. Would never think of running a straight ipod to unit, was only doing that for video purposes. Thanks though!
@mobiletoonz Yes, that was the exact problem. I did a fix of the cable that came with the B1 and it worked perfectly after that. Wasn't 100% secure with my quick fix so I ended up investing in a new Speakon cable and haven't had a problem since.
Did you get this problem resolved? I had a similar issue and the problem was one of the cables to the B1, i tightened the connection and it no longer cut out.
