From what I saw, George repeatedly gives her chances to redeem herself and really be honest or humble to the world about how in over her head she was.
But she was truly deluded into believing she could handle the job of being a world leader. She offers nothing to the American people that another candidate could not, and her opponents are actually skilled to deal with the issues and situations that would present themselves.

When most people know of Palin through Tina Fey jokes, it's no wonder that public perception of her is what it is. I prefer to do my own research instead of letting others make up my mind for me. I remain undecided about the former governor. The coverage of her, however, has been pretty biased. It's clear a lot of people were actively trying to CREATE the perception that she wasn't too bright. Whether she is or she isn't I'm completely unable to say.

I'm definitely not a fan of hers politically, at least socially anyway, but I certainly can't from one interview determine her intelligence. I was going to comment something but at this point its like beating a dead horse. At this point all the evidence is out there, how people take that and chose to perceive her is not going to change, no matter how much logical conversation or criticism happens, she's just such a polarizing force. From what I saw, George repeatedly gives her chances to redeem herself and really be honest or humble to the world about how in over her head she was.
But she was truly deluded into believing she could handle the job of being a world leader. She offers nothing to the American people that another candidate could not, and her opponents are actually skilled to deal with the issues and situations that would present themselves.
This woman is one a big parody of herself.

There are some very unfair and unreasonable comments here.
The consensus seems to settle upon how stupid she is and to me this is quite humorous -- she saved money for taxpayers in Alaska, hugely increased oil production, and did it all while raising 5 kids. And if her political successes don't convince anybody, she's out there making a lot more money than any of us. Sounds pretty stupid to me.

This is the first interview I've seen with Sarah Palin where the interviewer wasn't either ludicrously aggressive or disgustingly sycophantic. I guess that speaks to both the interviewer's commitment to neutrality and the fact that the election is over. It's nice to see someone look past the cretinous ignorance that she despoiled the McCain campaign with and engage the person.

When most people know of Palin through Tina Fey jokes, it's no wonder that public perception of her is what it is. I prefer to do my own research instead of letting others make up my mind for me. I remain undecided about the former governor. The coverage of her, however, has been pretty biased. It's clear a lot of people were actively trying to CREATE the perception that she wasn't too bright. Whether she is or she isn't I'm completely unable to say.

I'm definitely not a fan of hers politically, at least socially anyway, but I certainly can't from one interview determine her intelligence. She's certainly a much more colloquial speaker than most politicians, but that doesn't tell me anything. For all I know that could be intentional and designed to win over certain voters who long for earnestness over wordiness. Nothing is accidental.

Unable to successfully take over a senior political position like that she was running for. I'm not here making any pro Obama comments, I need not do that.
