As I recall, movie Zilla does appear at the end of the series, rebuilt as a cyborg, but is destroyed. "We're all to blame" was a good touch it basically is telling what TriStar tried to do with Godzilla by making him "Realistic" and when Toho added Godzilla in this fight off of "Zilla" they used a pretty damn ass good song for this fight and you if you downloaded the song it pretty much tells that Tristar doesn't own "Godzilla" nor the monster itself and Toho must've felt sorry for them(that or they were laughing there asses off when they say "Zilla") but still nice choice of song toho
godzilla USA is actually a pretty cool monster and his movie is cool too. I would have rather toho count it as a alternate universe with 2 godzillas going on at the same time... the classic one, and the realistic one. people make fun of godzilla usa losing here, but honestly, he was made to be more realistic than the original, not to fit in the original's "universe", so it was unfair to put him against the real godzilla... still, cool tribute to both characters :)

What's wrong with zilla? Nothing at all. That godzilla movie looked 10x better than any of the other godzilla movies. And he brought such an emotional aspect to the movie which was good. You actually felt sorry for him when you saw that his children died and even when he died.

@gallavant12345 Zilla was just a failed attempt at bringing the franchise to American viewers. crimsonninja does have a point that Zilla wasn't exactly in the same universe as the other monsters, but you have to think about this rationally. Unlike Zilla, Godzilla has actually been in battles with other monsters. Zilla doesn't have any special attacks, either. Or a breath weapon. So if you were just going by that alone, Godzilla would win in a fight most likely anyway.
@lmille07 Both have things going for them and things going against them. Zilla has the double disadvantage of lacking the powers and insane fighting skills of the original Godzilla, and being in a bad movie that rips off whole scenes and doesn't even know what it's doing. I think some of the hate for the movie gets translated into hate of Zilla. Not that Zilla isn't inferior, but people's hatred of him may be disproportionate.
He isn't in the same canon which is one reason why the knockoff in Godzilla wars isn't valid. Its stated that he in both the movie and the cartoon which is the sequel to the movie that he is the Godzilla in existence so they come from seperate universes.

What's wrong with zilla? Nothing at all. That godzilla movie looked 10x better than any of the other godzilla movies. And he brought such an emotional aspect to the movie which was good. You actually felt sorry for him when you saw that his children died and even when he died.

God, I just love this movie, and I love this scene. Why? Because it finally is shown, by Toho Studios themselves, the undeniable fact that GODZILLA IS NOT, AND IS BETTER THAN ZILLA!!! (I would have had no problem with the 1998 American film, but they called that iguana "Gojira," and it became personal...)

@gallavant12345 Zilla was just a failed attempt at bringing the franchise to American viewers. crimsonninja does have a point that Zilla wasn't exactly in the same universe as the other monsters, but you have to think about this rationally. Unlike Zilla, Godzilla has actually been in battles with other monsters. Zilla doesn't have any special attacks, either. Or a breath weapon. So if you were just going by that alone, Godzilla would win in a fight most likely anyway.

@lmille07 Both have things going for them and things going against them. Zilla has the double disadvantage of lacking the powers and insane fighting skills of the original Godzilla, and being in a bad movie that rips off whole scenes and doesn't even know what it's doing. I think some of the hate for the movie gets translated into hate of Zilla. Not that Zilla isn't inferior, but people's hatred of him may be disproportionate.
