Thank you for putting this on. One of the very first jazz records I owned (in 1957!) was a 45rpm EP microgroove disc with four tracks by Albert Nicholas. I've tended to neglect him in the meantime and it's great to be reminded of his unique and personal style. Of course, neither he nor Bill Coleman are very high in the jazz critics' pantheon of stars, so this video is timely. They are indeed two masters!
Came here for Albert Nicholas... Was wowed by Coleman... Surprised to find George Shearing on piano!
