@gloomyoutlook Man people like you really need to piss off from cooking channels, animals get killed to be cooked one way or another, I don't need to be asian to know that. I guess you buy your meat pre-cut and nicely wrapped, ever considered how that meat got there? BTW you really represent yourself well in your comment ever thought about what other people think about you? guess your still too immature to care huh?
Chef Hiroyuki was also challenged with Octopus and he really didn't like it either! like he mention in there, he doesn't like slimmy things but man.. does he ever make the food look good!!
You know, that made me realize something. Sakai is a master of seafood, i remember in the first battle of the 21st century they said Sakai was undefeated with seafood when it was revealed that the secret ingredient was red snapper. But Sakai LOST battle octopus. When is octopus not seafood?
I remember from the Sakai special that his nickname was "Fish Maestro" because he was undefeated whenever the secret ingredient was fish (until the Millennium Battle), not necessarily seafood. Hope that answers your question.
Oh hell... someone tell him garlic doesn't work! Tell him to get a squirt gun, water still damages vampires. And it doesn't have to be holy, the touch of water is like acid to a vampire!
...
At least that's what i was told in the Legacy of Kain.
Absolutely! Sakai squealing over the octopus at the end of that battle was one of the funniest moments in Iron Chef history. The dubbed voiceover might have been melodramatic, but still funny.
wat the hell is wrong with the woman who is dubbing for that actress!!???

Oh my god, the way he slices that squid! Fucking Asians, I swear. Absolutely no concept of humanity or mercy towards animals.

Lol, chill bro. I hope you're only worked up over the asian remark, and not my objection to how he killed those squid.

I feel sorry for Sakai here. It really looked like he dislikes squid.

Haha! They really like to make Sakai wrestle with live, squirming seafood on this show. His reactions are so funny.
