I don't really like MK anymore but damn, this hack blows me away. It does remind of back when I used to play the Megadrive ports of the games. All you have to do is overlook the rather poor Megadrive sprites, which is easy to do.

It's both. There was a legal issue due to some other game or whatever having the "Raiden" name.

The brown dot character is for practicing fatalities on. The player who choses that character automatically dies twice, thus bringing up the "Finish him/her." Pretty cool stuff. :-)
