  • Absolutely fantastic job...one of my favorite stitches of all time, and you deserve applause ,no criticism!!

  • I'm using 4-ply worsted medium yarn. Am I supposed to stitch more than 30 chains? I am a beginner, sorry.

  • @ILuvStAugustineFL dont be sorry because your a beginner!!!!! :) crocheting can be a bit confusing at times and its good to ask questions!!!!! so when doing the catherine wheel stitch you want to make sets of 10 over and over until your project is to its desired length.....then you add 6 more to that then one more for good luck (keep in mind this project does shrink as you go)

    hope this helps.....chanel @mikeys helpdesk..... :)

  • @ptsgrl2495 thank you!

  • OOOh I love the purple!

how much do looms go for? Looking to do the laptop table saver- as I am ALWAYS in the library on my laptop.

  • 4 PACK OF ROUND LOOMS IS $14.99 CANADIAN, THE RECTANGULAR ONE i AM USING IS 9.99 cdN.

  • Wonderful blankets and afghans you've made, but I wanted to ask what kind of yarn you're using. I wanted to make one for my grandmother, and I was wondering if a softer kind of yarn would work. Usually they hold loosely- would that kind of yarn work or would a firmer one that holds better be needed?

  • I have some questions. 1st question since the blanket shrinks does it become wider and longer as you continue going up? or will i have to do more chains than 30? to make a queen size how much yard do you think this will take?

  • I put a video response for shrinkage. you will find it here just below the video.

  • About what length did you make the beginning chain on your other Catherine Wheel Stitch afghans? Was trying to figure it out since you said that it shrinks.. Absolutely beautiful work by the way!

  • It almost shrinks 6 - 12 ". Depending on what you are doing... the longer you make it, the more of the shrinkage.

  • I did a video on shrinkage factor... it's posted here for your find it... it's a video response to this video

  • About what width did you make the beginning chain on your other Catherine Wheel Stitch afghans? Having trouble judging since you mentioned that it shrinks.. Absolutely beautiful work by the way!

  • im about to start this project! Wish me luck ;)...

  • Good Luck! haha

  • Yea, i was wondering the same thing as far as what size hook are you using. I've watched many of your videos and i never seem to catch the size needle you use.

  • it seems like he is using a size 5 needle! not sure tho...

  • Size 7 Actually

  • Size 7

  • woah your awesome. does this change if you want to do a different size blanket or crochet hook and what size hook are you using? thankyou.

  • Size 7
