  • Dude she's dead. Shaking her like a ragdoll and breaking her ribs isn't going to revive her

  • @Skylartheepicpony she survived

  • Uhm, she's had a near death exspirience by drowning, she might want some water, "Mate, she's had enough water!" I'm screaming at my screen, how bad.

  • compressions too hard

  • hey shes just drowned... but maybe she wants to drink some water

  • 0:52 "this lady is drowned, lets save her by pouring more water down her mouth and nose"

  • @SEGnosis gastric distension, i wouldn't want to get a mouth full of that if I were trying to save someone's life either.

  • @SEGnosis LOL i was thinking the same thing aha

  • @SEGnosis it's to get rid of the white guck

  • New ACLS

100 compressions per min/ No breaths necessary. Or if equiped 30 compressions to 2 vents.

  • Is she back to life?? someone tell me.. poor girl..

  • @UC609 Yes.She's alive and well.

  • @1buckshort Woot woot!Good job!

  • @1buckshort thanks

  • poor girl!! wth was she doing in the flippin ocean?!?

  • @screamingme4 i have no idea

  • @axxle000 Awesome, thanks

  • @carolynlucca not really. i have seen videos on here where the patient victim dies. so that's not true.

@chihiroxmiyaxaki yes that's the sound of water in her lungs.

@jdoggybizzle it's supposed to be in the middle of the chest compressions are. not on the side.

  • Simple logic...if they didn't show the hospital footage and she died then Youtube probably would have pulled the video.

Anyone know how the girl got herself into that mess in the first place?

  • I know things can be a little dirty, but I wouldn't be bothered if she had a filthy mouth, I would be bothered with the seconds I would be losing while cleaning her up.

  • is that gurgling sound the water in her lungs?

  • wait a minute, so you compress pretty much directly over the heart, since it's slightly to her left.

  • The only YouTube video where it's okay to ask if someone died.

  • not intubated..good job guys!

  • it looks like foam coming from the mouth/nose which is not unusual i think for drowning victims...

  • There is no such thing as going to fast. You are trying to do 100 compressions a minute, no less. Dude did a good job.

  • Hard and deep comprssions i like that

  • did she die..?....

  • Technicalities aside these guys got in there and looks like they were 100 % successful

    Well done.

  • she looks dead already

  • there needs to be more cpr vids like this

  • Notice the gastric distension? mouth to mouth= gross. But good job overall, looks like she made it. There really is almost no such thing as doing compressions too fast, If you're doing them to the right depth, it's nearly impossible to do them fast enough.

  • im not a doctor or medic, just an emt, and even i can see she isnt tubed and was admitted breathing...at the end of the day these guys did a good job...

  • Comment removed

  • @MrMgrinnell

Way too fast? Dude, i wouldn't wanna have you at my side when if i coded... And i can agree with the water, but if you can't bag and only perform mouth-to-mouth, i wouldn't be eager to do so if the mouth is full of vomit... Don't they teach you paramedics to observe? :-)

  • Did she Die??

  • @cater2u20033 nah, I think not. The last part of the video shows her(?) being admitted in the hospital with IVF infused. So, yep, I think not.

  • @ricwilliam o0o ok thats good

  • does she survived?

  • why were they pouring water over her face?

  • @pieme63 If you have never done CPR, you wouldn't know that a whole lot of crap comes out of there mouth. They are simply trying to rid some of the crap. Personally, I would never do CPR without an Ambu-Bag (BVM).. mouth-to-mouth is disgusting.

  • @ti17540 oh ok thanks

  • You can see the swollen stomach from the liquid, I believe they should compress the stomach 2-5 times per 30:2 ratio, to try to pump some more water out. That is just an opinion, not a medical fact, but it has been known to work. I am not sure the outcome in this video.

  • @DangerD205 No offense here, but I think the concern should be water in the lungs and not in the stomach. (And compressions are done in the sternum)

CPR is done for people in arrest, and in this case, respiratory arrest.

  • @ricwilliam I said 2-5 stomach comps per 30:2 ration CPR comps. To make sure you Res, and get water from the stomach and lungs. I will be a doctor in a few weeks, so I do not think your argument is valid.

  • Guys, this could be the best CPR video in the world involving a drowned woman.I wish to view this video a bit more longer but it still good.Congrats to the man in the brown uniform(possibly a police officer) for performing CPR on her vigorously until he manages to revive her back to life.

  • According to latest statistics, compressions should be at a rate of 100BPM, with 30 compressions to every 2 breaths.

Looks like these guys are pretty bang on with rate and depth, maybe a little hesitant at the beginning, as compressions need to be the priority, not breaths.

To those criticising though, don't. They tried and that's so much more important than technique.

Oh, and before anyone asks, I'm a current Nursing Student, and have performed CPR a good 15 times now.

    Good work to them :)

  • @chrismgallen

    Drowning victim = 5 initial breaths (first) - 30 chest compressions - 2 rescue breaths - 30cc - 2 rb...

If an adult has stopped breathing for any other reasons = 30 chest compressions - 2 rescue breaths - 30 cc...

  • @chrismgallen u are? u wanna explain to me how to do cpr then? and what rescue breaths are, exc..?

  • @chrismgallen

The 5 initial breaths are just for professionals in case of drowning and new borns, but obviously you are right when it comes to the 2010 ERC Guidelines for amateurs (which obviously are not that different from the professional ones)!

  • that's really scary

  • Did she make it?

  • @Wupierto

no she didn't make IT! mr. Garrison from south park made IT!

    hahhahahahahahahhahahhahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahhahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahah .. haha.hahahaha.ha sorry xD

  • at lest they tryed so what if they messed up or did it wrong its better the setting on your ass. they tryed give them that.

  • is it vomit coming out of her nose?

  • When they started chest compressions they was gettin closer and closer to bringing her back cuz if u can hear shes tryin to gurgle the water out of her throat on her own.

  • compressions are too fast.

  • @seriall1337

Ever done CPR before yourself? I have and according to me those compressions are not too fast at all... :-)

  • @kalkoenietje Agreed.

  • @seriall1337 id say thats good rate for 100 compresions a min

  • are they supposed to keep pouring water on her face? :/

  • @kiddy2012 to get the ocean water out

  • @kiddy2012

They are washing vomit before blowing. I´d do that too if i had no ventilation controlling equipment.

  • @AnalThunder They should have done it during compressions...they lost valuable time pouring water when he needed to be giving breaths.

  • kalewaal she survived it showed at the end that she had an oxygen mask in the hospital.

ceeIoc of course people die in hospital. lots of people do,.

  • did she survive or not??

  • He did everything right, except he didn't let the chest recoil. And the part in the begining...

  • lolly16 his compressions are in the right spot, he's doing them deep enough and fast enough... he just didnt let her chest recoil in between compressions and broken ribs often happen with Cpr and its not any big deal and unless she was trying to comitt suicide id think she'd rather be alive with broken ribs than be dead.... ( comming from a emt)

  • @2704heatherwolf Exactly. When the only alternative is death....(coming from another EMT)

  • wooooah way to hard compressions....and in the wrong place! dude

  • @lolly16 As a CPR instructor and EMT, those are fine compressions. He does bounce, though. Studies have shown that most people, including healthcare professionals, do not push hard enough; therefore, not maximizing full cardiac output. He "pushed hard, pushed fast" and it seems his work was successful, which is rarely the case. Compressions should be delivered with the heel of the hand only, locked arms, non-bouncy, full recoil of the chest, hard and 100 per minute.

  • I wasnt asking how cpr should be performed.... as a "cpr instructor and EMT" you would also know that you gage your strength on the size of the person... its not godd pumping the hell out of them bringing them back but then puncturing their lung with broken ribs

  • those compressions are in the right spot and depth is good.....i think you might need to get you cpr training again

  • @first1responder thats why your name is first responder! stop bringing other people down when they tried to revive her, it took the gods honest courage to even put his hands on her chest.

  • I filmed a drowning years ago on a Beach in Florida from beginning to end.

The lifeguard knew what he was doing. This is what I witnessed.

The lady looked dead.Put her on her side water came out her mouth.

He messaged her ribs. Put her on her back. Opened mouth Closed nose

with Fingers and took a deep breath and gave her mouth to mouth. Over

and over' She started gasping for air and changed color fast. AMAZING.

I never developed that film. Peace.

  • it shows at the her in the hospital. of course she didn't die.

  • yeah cause people don't die in hospitals.

  • this is from turkey, coast guard. she had rescued.

  • so what happned??? did she dye..

  • Where was this from? Do you have any more information?
