What a magnificent film! We saw it for the first time this evening and cannot believe it did not win Best Picture in 2009. It is astonishingly beautiful, and so is the soundtrack.

i got excited when she won the oscar cuase she deserved it so much but then when remembered it i thought it was not that big of a deal she would have got it some time. she is so talented that everyone thinks "how many more times is kate gonna win an oscar" rather than with other actresses with whom you think that they may win an oscar in their lifetime

I loved the book and also the film is a masterpiece. Really good actors; Kate Winslet for example is so changeable and Ralph Fiennes did a great job! Of course some topics are missing but for a movie which is made after a book it is simply great. Love the soundtrack, too!

No EriiCC123,Its a mystery There is a nother video on Youtube 8 Santiago calatrava Palua des artes Valencia) which uses this track as a backdrop, which suggests Nico Muhly did it before this movie( A real pain in the butt because I wanted to learn to play it ! ;-) sorry it is much use but there you go! its not even on the soundtrack album, based on the previews i would imagine its probably the music in the background where Kate winslett and the hero get it on!!!! i don't think this is the official theme..this was used in the trailer, that's all. it's called 'primavera' by ludovico einaudi. you can find it on his album 'divenire'. nico muhly composed the score not ludovico.
