I was there for the surf as well from Wed. to Thur. Couldn't believe that the surge started so far in front of the storm. Ray Wilkinson was damned lucky that the eye passed didn't hit 30 miles further west. Also: Too bad about the Purple Cow. Hope the damage is repairable.
