  • i honestly cant tell if these videos are supposed to be making fun of religious people of true christians or both badly made

  • Christ-Follower and Christian = same thing....Christian - "little Christ," i.e. imitator of Christ. I love how Christians think semantics equals logic.

  • Coming from a true Christian (Christ-follower, Jesus Freak, WHATEVER) this is stupid.

  • So, basically, in all of these videos the Christ Follower is trying to be cool while the Christian is being judgemental. Nice try, but I think you failed on your message.

  • Atheist FTW!

  • so, the christ follower point s the finger at the christian, the christian points the finger at the catholic and the catholic points the finger at the christ follower. and they all use the phrase "they re not a true christian." the end

  • @Dudedan24 Exactly. That's how religion starts a war. xD

  • @Dudedan24 And He saw that it was good.

    ... wait a minute...

  • fuck you stop parodising mac vs pc commercials my computer is worth more then your godame church asshole someone should sue you

  • @SidsRetroMacs chill out dude... were not trying to hate we just want to discuss the differences between living like Jesus and living like the church...

  • @polkadotSUN no all ur doin is trying to mix religion with somethin thats actually good all u people do is judge and try to convert other people sto posting your crap

  • @SidsRetroMacs agreed. lets BOTH stop

  • hëhe_ÁnýÔÑE_wãNñA_chÁt_wïth_mE_ï_fÉËl_sö_lOnÈlY_tÕdäy∟

  • seriously? why does everyone fight on youtube? watch the video. dont like it? leave. it gets annoying.

  • @JesusFreakForever51 That's what the comment section is for. If you don't like the comments or arguments, just leave. Your whining is annoying.

  • You gotta admit, the fire thing was pretty cool...

  • ok, that was funny

  • This video demonstrates first the inevitable "stale flavor" that we all will come across in our walks. The Christian seeks outward for his renewed faith. The Christ follower seeks inward. Since the holy spirit reside within us, looking outward for restoration of faith doesn't make sense. Those who are saved have the holy spirit "integrated" we dot need a "backup." Its always there, and always abundnant, just ask for a "refill."

  • ...and I'm an idolater!

  • They just created artificial life, your move Christians.......

  • @9021OJ Would be good to take a look at one of these "souls" everybody has in a lab......oh wait

  • This one is lame

  • I'm confused...

  • I don't care for this. I think it encourages judgementalism. We should love our brothers in the Lord, especially those whose convictions differ ie listening only to Christian music. I do not think this encourages love amongst the bretheren, and I don't believe we have to water anything down to draw in an unbelieving world. We should be standing together, those of us who go to church in suits with those of us who go to church in jeans, those who listen to secular music and those who don't.

  • :-)

  • Drivel!

  • these videos i like them

they're showing the diference between a religious person and a person with the relationship with Jesus Christ is all

    i likve them guys, they're reallly goodd (Y) ( :

    keep it upp

  • @chicanica29 there is no difference, they are both retarded :/

  • I don't understand.

Is this just the difference between the church and a more modern church?

Well, doesn't matter. You're both wrong. lol

  • No, these videos are from some marketing department whose audience is the "Christ follower" and trying to show they (the Community Christian Church) accept those individuals who don't identify with the image of a "Christian" as shown and to come, join us as you are.

  • Great message. Jesus accepts us all as we are. We are like a dirty cloth when we come to Him no matter what kind of outfit we wear. If you are comfortable in a suit...fine! If you wanna worship God in casuals then that's great too. God sees beyond your clothes and appearance and truly knows the heart.

  • @TheConfusedChristian sweet. it's cool to know there are more people that feel the same way

  • Wow it's so true that a lot of people still don't realize that it's not about the outside, it's about the.. Well inside :(

  • You are so right man. Check out my channel I say some stuff like that

  • These are great! I love it!

  • These videos are teaching us to mock real people...

Some of these souls are dying and going to hell, because they still trust in religious tradition instead of Christ alone.

And has your love for them grown or diminished since being encouraged to laugh at them?

Those of us who have truly come to know Christ personally should be praying for them and not making fun of them. They're people, and many of them are perishing for lack of knowledge... like we were.

Bless the Lord, O my soul.

  • These videos caricature a class of persons (ones who are "christians, and therefore not "christ followers") resulting in a generally condemned stereotype. They also seem designed to elicit an emotional response - one that is negaive toward those people. That, precisely, is the role of propaganda when used by anyone for anything. This could be dangerous stuff - think how you'd feel were you on the receiving end of it....

  • I would prolly laugh cause if it was about me some of it might be true.. one must learn to accept oneself for who they are (but yes in the wrong hands and toward people who have not accepted themselves this could be real dangerous)

  • Shouldn't this be prodestant and catholic instead?

  • Religion has a history of changing and subdividing when enough people object to its flaws. If it must change to remain popular and profitable proves: it is imperfect.

This series of cutesy commercial clones promotes just one more illusory bifurcation in an inherently flawed cult; a commercially-branded sub-species: "Christ followers."

Changing "flat-earth theory" will NOT make it correct.

Nor will false distinctions improve a failing sect.

  • seen this video i think is not right to make humor of biblical values and teachings. in the NT times they had the reverence and fear of the Lord.

  • My wife and I are ministering to a couple who have grown up in various denominations. They have always eventually left because they were fed religion instead of the true word of God. They were taught how to follow rules rather then bask in grace and realize that being a Christian (or Christ follower or whatever) is actually about a relationship with God. I think this series of parodies speaks for those who are sitting in the pews religiously but are spiritually malnourished.

  • Dan. i appreciate your concern, but sometimes we are overwhelmed with the medium than the word of God. Ps 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

the road to revival is back to the basic study of the Word of God.

  • god probably enjoys watching atheists more than christfags in his pet ant farm

  • soo you believe in a Lord?

  • I don't get the point of these christ follower clips.. There's no difference in a Christian and a christ follower.

  • That's the way it should be but it isn't always. That's what this video is showing.

  • "maybe theres a loose firewire..."

  • That was incredibly sad. They really need to develop some sort of test for people buying video production equipment. It can be really dangerous in the wrong hands.

  • I dont get it... is this pro... what religion, what the fuck. arnt all religions, or most at least, "Followers of their lord?" this was ridiculus

  • No, Catholicism doesn't follow Jesus but sacrifices itself for humanity. Just read Dostojevski: The brothers Karamazov, Chapter: The grand inquisitor.

  • I'm looking for a (Mac vs. PC Parody) on serving and sitting in the Church.

  • I am sorry but I refuse to believe that we follow the same religion as roman catholics. And for the person who said it was forced upon roman catholic, I disagree, I accepted Jesus in my life on my own, no one forced me, My parents are atheists and therefore all my life I was told that he did not exist. While some christians will talk to you about how their religion is the best, I do not use that kind of bull****. I am not in a religion like what most people think. I just have faith in God

  • and his son Jesus. I do believe that you do not need to belong to a religion to be a "christian"

  • Amen Bro! im glad you see the truth. Im not religious, i just love the Lord.

  • "I am sorry but I refuse to believe that we follow the same religion as roman catholics."

Then maybe you had better study some history and find out just where your pagan belief stems from.

  • LOL! nicely put Lora

  • a religion that was forced upon people the roman catholic one

  • There are Christians who do! We're called Seventh-day Adventists, and we keep the Sabbath and follow Christ. Well, those of us who take it seriously, anyway. Not all of us are phonies. We don't eat pork, either. There are Christians who believe in the Bible, you just have to look for them!

  • Hey cool another SDA! Are you in north america? what conference?

  • 7th Day Adventist?

  • i believe that when jesus died, he no longer sought to divide us from jews, that is why he ripped the curtain when he died. and how do you know that christ didn't eat pork? and we do teach the Law of moses, we teach and believe the first 5 books of the bible Moses wrote!!!!

  • The veil ripping signified more ready access to the Father by a new priesthood (order of Melchexidez) to replace the Aaronic priests. 1John 3:4 says that violating any off God's commandments is sin. If Christ ate pork, he would've been a sinner for violating the law of Moses, a liar for claiming to keep Gods commandments perfectly, and a false prophet for teaching against the commandments (Duet 13). Besides, no Jew in the first century would even touch pork if they could even find it!

  • No where in the NT is there mention of any "Order of Melchizedek". No where in Torah does it ever say the Aaronic priesthood would be overthrown. In fact God's statutes and commands given to the priests are forever, which means the levites are forever priests.

  • See Hebrews 7. Agree with you that the Aaronic priesthood has not been abolished. However those who love the God of Israel by submitting to His Son (Yeshua - known by the christian nickname "Jesus") do accept the Messiah's appointed roles of King and WARRIOR High Priest.

  • i consider myself a christian... although i am nothing like whats represented in the video. i think the leaders who are trying to sell this "Christ follower" deal are probably tired of being part of an organization that gets a lot of criticism. i think if you follow Christ you don't need to be adding to the criticism of christians who also follow Christ. no matter what, we're going to be persecuted, the bible tells us that. why persecute each other?

  • Amen i like they way you think

  • LOL same thing, but different in their approaches to Christ (If we are saved, then we are children of God, NOT Christians!) =)

  • i am a Christian , and a Christ follower, they mean the same thing!!!

  • ...not quite

  • wait...I'm confused...is there a difference? aren't Christ followers Christian? sorry I've never heard that term used before.

  • youre missing the point, i believe.

  • What? Well I was just wondering what a Christ follower is? I didn't know what it was, but I googled it.

  • People involved in seeker-sensitive / emergent circles are into being called "Christ followers." It basically identifies someone who essentially believes in all law, no grace. A Christ follower LIVES IT OUT, PERIOD. That is just the law, however. If someone doesn't "live it" 100% perfect, that person is not being a "Christ follower" and ... then what?

Traditionally, "Christian" is the BIBLICAL term, and describes someone saved by GRACE. It is not works-based.

  • yeh i looked it up

so basically they're more like disciples...right?

  • yeah, Jesus Freaks basically! :)

  • I believe in the video the "christian" represents those seek security by appearing christian.

The "christ-follower" represents those who simly follow Christ.

The titles may be a bit stereotyped but just look at what they represent, as apposed to their names. Both are Christian, but in different ways.

  • ??WTF??

  • I'm a Christ Follower...and this is some good stuff!

  • im a christ follower

  • Matthew 12:36

  • I'm not sure that all these parodies are idle words...

  • That "Christian" guy pronounces Christian so weird like

    "Crish-chin"

  • Nice statement in this video. Their are 6 others just like it. I totally agree with it. Christianity has always remained corrupt and perverted the true teachings of Christ. It's another religion made out of ignorance. The Bible has a lot better to say without Christian culture influence.

    Galations 5:2 (The Message)

I am emphatic about this. The moment any one of you submits to circumcision or any other rule-keeping system, at that same moment Christ's hard-won gift of freedom is squandered.

  • Christianity isn't a religion, it's a life style; anyone can say that they are a Christian "little Christ" it doesn't make it so. Jesus says that those who are His know His voice, it's a spiritual matter that un-spriritual people do not understand because they haven't the Spirit of Christ dwelling within them, we Christians because of what we believe and not because of what we do.

  • Just as an aside, all christ followers are now by definition, achristians (no it's not a typo, i did infact type achristians), because they do not believe the tenets of the christian faith.

Now, having said that, what other word begins with A and pertains to a lack of faith in particular religions?

I think i'll leave this as an exercise for the class.

Cryptic clue: "Early Greek city, begins in summer time"

  • Tenets and faith are separate things. Tenets are doctrinal; they are part of the mechanism of religion. Faith is of the spirit.

oilotnoM, Your cheesy attempt at aligning non-ritualistic christianity with atheisim is ridiculous and hostile. Please examine your value system, and ask yourself if Jesus would approve of such a divisive tactic. (Consider the tale of the good samaritan, if you need a point of reference from Jesus regarding treatment of fellow human beings of different ilk.) ♥

  • God does exist, and i'll prove it!

    Does James Bond exist?

If you were compelled to say "yes". Was it also followed by the qualification: "I'm a huge ian fleming fan!". Probably not, because the belief that james bond exists, is due to the personification of the character as documented by the author. People personify the character because that is the intention of a novel, it is to convey the story as if a real person had this adventure and was reciting it, for example, around the campfire.

  • lol dude james bond the character actually doesnt exist, the actor does.

  • You didn't actually read the entire comment, did you?

"Probably not, because the belief that james bond exists, is due to the personification of the character as documented by the author"

Which does not mean, the actor, that's not personification (you really ought to look it up).

And it's actor's, plural, because there have been many who took up the role =P

  • so that means every character in every story exists, being allah, zues, every other pagan god

  • Yes, but when i refer to a character "existing" i mean that the characters existance implies the potential for an intelligence to entertain the concept of the character. So, this means that if there is some form of codified record (writing, vocal recording, film, picture etc, an encoding of the character as data/information) of the character, then the concept of that character can enter an intelligent mind able to assimilate the encoding and be entertained as a thought.

  • so your saying that it is possible to process a thought, and if your saying anything that has the potential to be real, is real, then your going against the bible. If your saying that just because something was recorded, then that doesnt mean that it ever existed. I don't deny the existence of a god, but the bible just isn't convincing.

  • look man im sorry for making arguments over religion on here my mistake. at the moment i am simply agnostic because of my own personal beliefs on theology.

  • yeah ... firewire ^^

    thanks for post!

    A4CTS

  • at last I've found someone who thinks llike me. It's so frustrating seeing christians with the latest christian book or music cd. My wife is a " christian " and watches benny hinn and all those idiots instead of watching and listening to God. It's so cool to see someone who actually thinks the same as me.

  • I have seen all this videos, and i think that being a Christ follower is all about following his example, remember he is all about being humble, that was his basic teaching, love God over all and love each other like you love your self.

  • thanks dude! there are churches in my town that are the same way. my personal belief is that God should fill your life and mind all day, everyday, and you shouldn't have an on and off switch for your faith. my youth pastor will love this!

  • The problem is that people are too religious, which is not Scriptural. Being a Christian is having a relationship with Christ not with a church or organization....Christianity should be non-denominational. No rules or regulations, just plan, good old Bible principles...

  • Oops, should be "just plain". Just had surgery on my right arm...my typing is suffering.

  • @stumpmtsr You are so right! Its a relationship not a religion. Thank you for posting this comment.

  • @stumpmtsr

Like slavery, and raping girls you wanna marry ^^

  • @FortuneInLies WHAT!?!?!?!?

  • @stumpmtsr he was listing some of the "good old Bible principles"

  • @angelwhite That was my point...I just agreed with him.

  • @stumpmtsr Yeah good old bible principles...such as child sacrifice, Incest, slavery and holding somebody else accountable for your crimes instead of facing up for them yourself. Yeah bible principles rock... infanticide, genocide and rape are a pretty common theme. Well im off to dash some children's heads against the rocks and burn a goat cause the smell pleases the lord. High five simpleton who clearly does not read the bible.

  • @myjizzureye Wow!! You have issues....

  • @stumpmtsr Yes you're dam right I have issues with rape, slavery, incest, genocide, infanticide, child sacrifice, animal sacrifice, sexism, racism and all the other things endorsed and sometimes even commanded by god in the bible. Should I be cool with that kinda sick shit?

I got a really moral idea, how about we kill some innocent guy as punishment for somebody else's crimes. What a strikingly logical and intelligent way to think.

If that makes sense to you go for gold but your nutty.

  • @myjizzureye Interesting... where did you get the basis that those things are wrong? Also you will find the bible condemns, not commands or supports those things.

  • @Rhyno2183 Are you reading the same book I am?

Incest (what did god command Adam and Eve to do?)

Genocide (what did god command the Jews to do to the Canaanite's?)

Child Sacrifice (what did god command Jephthah do to his daughter?)

Slavery/sexism (what is the price to be paid for male and female slaves by gods law?)

Animal Sacrifice (Seriously? What smell pleases the lord?)

Can you quote one part of scripture that denounces slavery or any of the above commanded items?

  • @myjizzureye Well God never told Jephtah to sacrifice his child, he had made a foolish vow. Leviticus 20:1-5, Jeremiah 7:31, 19:5, and 32:35 clearly state God is against child sacrifice. Slavery in biblical times is different to the British colonial slave trading, it was a means of providing someone who was poor or grossly in debt a place to live for work and were told not to treat them harshly and was only for a set period of time. Harsh slave trading was forbidden.

  • @Rhyno2183 Are you a spastic? What part of "handed down through generations" and "beat a slave if he lives 5 days then dies its okay cause he is your property" do you not get.

Does God not have the ability to see into the future? If he does then he KNEW it was going to be his daughter out to greet him first thus he endorses if not commands child sacrifice. Leviticus 20:1-5 is saying DONT sacrifice your child to Moloch the pagan god. Its worshiping others he is bent out of shape about.

  • @Rhyno2183 Jeremiah 7:31 is indeed in STARK contradiction with the story of Jedptah...yet another contradiction I was unaware of until you pointed it out. He has never commanded such a thing? So exactly when did deliberately wiping out another race of people not classify as genocide? You are also a bit quite of the whole family fuck fest thing. Look at Lot and his daughters...Adam and Eve, Noah anybody? Thank goodness its all just a fairy tail cause thats some sick shit right there.

  • @myjizzureye What Israel was commanded to do to Canaan was not genocide out or racist spite, it was just judgment from a holy God. the bible speaks against racism and sexism, all are on equal grounds to God (Galatians 3:28).

But I ask again, on what would you base these things as being wrong.

  • @Rhyno2183 So genocide is excusable if its not out of racist spite.... You truly are a sick twisted piece of work.

On What would I base these things being wrong.....hmmm I dunno....how about slaughtering a shitload of people cause you would quite like to steal their land. Do you seriously mean to tell me that you need to be told what is wrong with this?

  • Comment removed

  • @iancerit4u 1) Did or did god not know who was going to step out of Jephthah's house first. 2) Was he able to prevent him burning his daughter to a crisp. This is as retarded as me putting poison in a cup and asking if you want a drink after you have been on a 40km run. Then when you take it, drink it and die I say "oohh it was you're choice to do this, I had no part in killing you as it was souly your own will out of my control". What a morally bankrupt pile of contradictory crap you worship.

  • put a Halo ring on the Mac side... integrated!

  • as much as i hate those comercials(pc fan WOOT) that video is awsome thanks for posting it.

  • exactly. God doesn't look on the outside, he looks on the inside

  • @kenan6346 I killed 15 kittens but otherwise I'm a lovely person, heaven plzkthxbai

  • Seems a lot of people misinterpret these videos. Are they perfect in getting the point across, no. However, the point is that SOME christians begin to have the mentality that it is what they look like and how they come across that makes them 'known' as a christian. The video is trying to say that appearance is not important, content is. Thats all.

  • true...a mythology

  • God Christians are stuck up lol...

Why can't you see what's funny in this?

Stop being so protective about your religion and just enjoy it for your own sake.

Joking about God isn't herecy when it's a... well... a joke?

  • You claim to be Christ followers yet you make a mockery of his work! Do you think you are a modern Martin Luther? You have a long way to go my friend!

  • agreed

e nomine patris, filii, et spiritus sancti, amen!

  • This video has about as much credibility as the christian faith...

why did god advocate genocide in the case of the great flood?

  • Genesis 6-1:7

  • oh i see, that completely justifies killing people. next time i perceive someone as evil, ill just destroy them. walking in the path of christ. LOL.

  • quite an ignorant reply

  • Because angels had intercourse with women and contaminated the gene pool. It was a plan. Jesus had to be born 100% man with no angelic 'DNA'. All flesh was corrupted except Noah's. He was 'perfect' in his generations. Genesis 6...read it.

  • Hehe. Mythology is fun. =P

  • i almost think that this is a joke it is so rediculous...so the initial humans that god placed here were mistresses for the angels? and then once they were content with the "ass" god kills them all and starts fresh...if god is able to create adam and eve, he would be able to create an "all man" again. ridiculous.

  • All hail the mighty Flying Spagetti Monster!

  • and his noodly appendage

  • The humour is something that people where I live can relate to and also get them thinking. Thanks for this video. Let's not get too legalistic over the "labels".

  • As a minister, I think that this is brill. Here in England, there is a certain stereotype associated to the word "Christian"-it relates to people who go to church on Sunday and have a "Christian cultured" way of life. Although Christian literally means "Christ follower" the difference between the Christian culture and the Christian relationship with God is very true. And funny.

  • No, actually "ReadTheBible101", I have yet to read those things like the Book of John, and I understand this humor just fine. In fact, you're the joke, as you're pretty much claiming that you need to heavily read it to understand it.

  • I agree with HisCrownedPrincess. It should (enphasis on should) be the same, but the word christian has been thrown around so much if we say that some people get ofensive or just say "oh your one of those". So yea. But I like the videos. Tounges of fire. Haha nice Bible reference!

  • notic the music.. these two are like a couple of chimps, being fed garbage an dlike chimps, they eat it up... ha ha

  • I think this is sad that people now look at Christianity in a worldly way. Trying to say that "Christians" are and different from " Christ Followers" They are boh the same thing. Just Some people would rather dress and sound like the world to bring in more people and to be more appealing. While others aren't willing to change tradition to bring in more youth. I feel that if you're living for Gid and doing your part that people will notice no matter what you wear. Thanks for being lukewarm.

  • I think these are very good examples, and i do believe that 'Christian' and FOLLOWER OF CHRIST should be the same thing, but the word Christian has been thrown around way to much in society, people claiming to be 'Christian' because it 'sounds good' and not having a true relationship with GOD.

  • Good point... I agree how "Christian" is thrown around without any care at all. You rock !! :)

  • firewire!!! LOL

...someone in there's been waiting 5 years to be able to post this joke...

  • This is Christian humor that will be totally lost on someone who does not know the way. To get it you will have to understand the Book of John (try the NLT or NIV versions online). Read it if you are strong enough. Or be weak and mock something you do not understand.

  • loose firewire!!!! that's HILARIOUS!!!!

  • U really found that funny??? Very lame and stale comedy here.

  • HAHAHAHA, Very good!

  • Some very good guidance comes from Oswald Chambers. Check out My Utmost for His Highest.

  • whats the difference between a Christian and a Christ Follower?

  • It's trying to highlight the idea that some people believe that to be a Christian, you must wear certain things to show you're a Christian, or listen to Christian music exclusively or do any number of deeds to be a real Christian. The truth is that to be a Christian you only have to follow Jesus- other criteria placed on people comes from people, not from God.

  • Do you people read any history books about Mythology? or just except the Bible as the start of (lack of) intelligence?

  • can someone plzzz tell me where to get this theme song!!

  • I agree, there are both extremes. Some Christians are either "eh, whatever, just don't rock the boat" or the get in your face yell at you till you get saved type. Honestly you're supposed to be in the middle of the road. Do what ever the Holy Spirit or your conscience tells you to do. Walk in love.

  • it's a fine point you're trying to make, but lots of folks won't get it. i think it was hilarious. 5 starrrrrrrrrs. FireWire LOL

  • dude you need help religis help i may not be able to spell you need help more than most you noob, and you just need god i mean the holy ghost with speaking in other toungs i am a penticost and you need help help from god or a friend that knows what he is talking about christian are people that know thing not some stupid "christ followers" in other word fruit cake or gay people you need to be someone that will help people in ther walk with god

  • maybe you should speack christenese some people may go to heaven you duse noob

  • Hey Relax....This person must of posted these video for fun...Let him. If God hasn't Roasted this fool then neither should you.... True he is making fun of The Holy Ghost (which he will have to answer for ) which I see as wrong..but like I said..let him be..and who cares if your Penticost or baptist....Dont divide the body of Christ you Moron (I say that last part with love BTW)

  • wow...you should relax. As you say "let him"

  • At just what point did he make fun The Holy Ghost? All I saw was a video making fun of all over religious wacko's out there that think they have be consumed by Christianity like it was a Nazi war camp. Now think to yourself, What Would Jesus Really Do? He was pretty laid back guy, wouldn't he want us to be the same way?
