It's amazing to see how many muslims misrepresent the doctrine of the hypostatic union. It makes me wonder if they ever actually understood Christianity. They take simplistic phrases Christians use like "Jesus is God" or "God became man" and make them mean what they want, when really they are a simplistic representation of a longer explanation: God is spirit (John 4:24). This eternal, divine spirit entered into a body of flesh it created in Mary. This union on earth is called Jesus. In brief.

At the end of this video, he essentially says everyone should be a Muslim. Yet never have I heard any reasoning why I should believe his view of the world. He has argued much against some made up stuff in another religion's book, but hasn't told me anything about why I should believe his interpretation of the world.

Pretty much the main argument of all these restoration cults is: Christianity if false, therefore we're true. (Christianity is screwed up, therefore we're the restoration.) E.g. The confidence of Islam is practically all about it's criticisms of Christianity for many muslims I speak with. Basically hijacking the success of the religion of Jesus for you're own religion.

Well Jesus who was no man gave his life for the sins of the world.He was the sacrifice the lamb,perfection.If anything God was always carrying the burden of people.He always had to forgive when others did wrong or else they ended up out of his grace.

God never is and never was burdened. He's all powerful. It's not a problem or hard, or a hassle for Him to forgive us. It's us who have problems with ASKING for forgiveness, so we want an easy way out, when there isn't any. Jesus said the way to eternal life is by following the commandments (Mk 10:17-19), not by his sacrafice.

Actually on the day of the cross he did bare our sins.Like I stated it was through forgiveness that he was freed of that burden and the same as us.

I used to be Christian before embracing Islam and this is not even the most unbelieveable doctrine Christianity teaches. The lack of accountability is natural in the human being. Of course no one wants to think that they could pay for their sins. So Put it on Innocent Jesus to make ourselves feel better! Istagfirullah!! The most bogus belief for me was the relation between Jesus and God. How could Jesus be himself and God? My mom told me he had split personalities! SUBHANALLAH! Very good video!!

Read Mark 16:16-18 in bible...

Basically it tells its believers to worship serpents. Speak a "new" tongue. Drink venom or poison and you won't die. And if you place your hand on someone they will be healed.

This practice continues in a town in usa(i forgot the name of that city..Souther state..) and it was reported that over 100+ people died from drinking the poison.

You can call them whatever you want but that is sick and can NEVER be from God.

i tried to search original sin on youtube. nothing came up. As a Muslim i know that there is nothing like original sin in Islam. All babies are born pure and sinless and if they die they GO to Heaven. IT IS THE PERVERTED BELIEF OF MANY CHRISTAINS THAT ORIGINAL SIN IS Inherited. Brother Estes mentioned that Eve was created from the rib of Adam and that is what Qur'an says. I am not sure if that is the case. This is the Byblical explanation but I couldn't fidn any referance to that in the holy Qur'an. I wonder what verse of Qur'an mentions that? Or is it in a hadiths?

not sure if quran mentions the word rib. but it does say "O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam), and from him (Adam) He created his wife [Hawwa (Eve)], and from them both He created many men and women and fear Allah through Whom you demand your mutual (rights), and (do not cut the relations of) the wombs (kinship). Surely, Allâh is Ever an All Watcher over you. {An-Nisa':1}

Yusuf Ali's translation:

"O mankind! Reverence your Guardian-Lord, who created you from a single person, created, of like nature, His mate, and from them twain scattered (like seeds) countless men and women;- reverence God, through whom ye demand your mutual (rights), and (reverence) the wombs (That bore you): for God ever watches over you."(Nisaa 4:1)

The word "nefs" which was translated as "person", can also refer to soul/spirit. That would totally change the meaning.

I think the hadith clarifies the meaning of that ayah.

"And We have also sent down unto you (O Muhammad SAW) the reminder and the advice (the Quran), that you may explain clearly to men what is sent down to them, and that they may give thought." 16:44

The mothers of all those unbaptized babies that were born dead during birth or soon afterwards have been told their child has gone to "limbo" forever. Can you imagine the anguish of the parents who loved their babies, thinking that they are now damned eternally?

And infant mortality was extremely common until not long ago...
