For DC Direct I think the g-string is best. For something like Hot Toys, that only adult/mature collectors would get maybe two different versions.

If they do make a series 3, they need to remake Rorschach. It's kinda obvious that he's the majorities favorite, and yet he has the crappiest figure. Not to say it looks bad... no, it actually looks great! But movement wise, all he can do is lift his arms and twist his legs. I think they should give him a rubber coat (Like Ozymandias) so he can have articulated legs. (Also, his mask is to clean lookin', they need to make it more detailed.)

I'm kind of torn. If you get the original you see more of the detail in the figure. If you get the translucent you get more of an energy glow look.

Manhattan would've definitely benefited from some extra hands or at least cut wrists, but ah well. The leg thing is cool. The weird joints are the dreaded v-crotch. I wish that would be abandoned, but I guess it's better than no joint at all. Think I prefer the variant!

Maybe I'm wrong. I always believed he raped her and that act of basically evil lead to Laurie's conception. Reason why Manhattan had his whole speech about how Laurie was a miracle and such.

I don't think they wanted to show the full out rape in the movie so it's edited and, I admit, it looked a bit like he was caught before it happened.

well in the movie if i remember correctly when laurie and doc was on mars he flashed back to when her mom was augring with a man. he said the comedian tried to rape her but down the line they had sex.

Manhattan was going on about Sally having every reason to hate Eddie but she didn't; she loved him enough to conceive a child with him. And the person who happened to be conceived was Laurie, which was proof that miracles happen...apparently.

i know it was there but it wasn't really emphasized that much. did u notice the camera angles in the movie like when they would zoom out it would normally zoom out from his thing. like they were showing it to your face, or it could have just been me and my friends, we saw it in imax and we were in one of the far front seats seat

It wasn't really emphasized that much in the movie either. My friend even made a delightful remark about how small it was for a guy his size. And no... They never zoomed out from his penis. It'd either be a full body shot or he would turn and you'd see it. In fact for a while you'd see him but the camera would either be zoomed in or out of frame enough that it wouldn't be shown.
