Bravo loucif, malgres la defaite forcee tu es toujours un meileurs boxeurs algeriens et tu as la releve... Rachid.... bonne chance...Brahim Besmi... Canada..
ummm, no. as long as your opponent isn't on the ground and the ref hasn't stepped in, you are not only allowed, but OBLIGED to keep hitting him. it is NOT the fighter's job to decide when the other guy has had enough, that is the job of the ref, the cornermen, and the doctor.
Hard to see this video mainly when it is about the loved Loucif Hamani, but this is boxing and whatever strong a boxer is, there is always another boxer who can defeat him and get him out of the ring... everyone remembers the episode of Tayson versus Hollifield ... Hamani, we will love you for ever!
Hamani was the greatest Algerian Boxer in his time. If he was supported matrially by the Algerian authorities (who disliked him because of his Kabyle origines), he would go very far ahead in boxing. Alas!
He only retired because Leonard wouldn't give him a rematch...which of course doesn't surprise me. Leonard didn't give anyone a rematch, only got them when he wanted them. But, it probably was better. He has more dignity than most champs who go on too long.
Tsss!Hamani was such a Bum!So was caveman lee, sibson and obleegamis or whatever the hell his name was.And the rematch with the sooo done vito.Tsss.why didnt hagler ever give Wilfredo Benitez a shot at his rather properly managed and protected title during the span of 81-mid 83?Hmmm.Really makes one wonder sometimes.
Youre talking rubbish bobbyd7085! As regards to Wilfredo Benitez, lets be honest, Hagler would have eaten him alive. At the time the likes of Sibson, caveman Lee and Hamani, were highly ranked world class contenders. After Hagler had finished with them, they suddenly became bums! Really makes one wonder sometimes.
well...in his retirement address he stated his motivation: he was sickened by boxing. He was robbed of his decision against Leonard. Leonard had flash and style but Marvin was all substance. He retired because it was fundementally unfair to lose that fight.
He needed to retire. He wasn't nearly the fighter he was when he fought leonard and I still think he won. It is probably a good thing that he lost that fight because he probably would have kept fighting
and this knockout is in non of his hl videos

Caveman Lee was a solid opponent as well- he was Kronk gym fighter- but Hagler shut him out. Hagler is one of the best ever dude no doubt.

@Robstailey Shit I didn't know that, thanks for informing me, any fighter would get crushed if they had only three weeks to prepare for Hagler.
