I finally figured out what went wrong..I saw 'The Fighter' for the first time 3/25/11. I saw "King's Speech" 3x. I wanted Geoffrey Rush to win the Best Supporting Award. What went wrong WAS : The Academy should've nominated Christian Bale as BEST ACTOR and Mark Wahlberg Best Supporting Actor...Then, Colin would've won over Christian. Geoffrey would've won over Mark. I also found out..both movies were produced by Weintstein Productions..So it was a probably a set up...it was a win-win for them
