This is a cool video! In todays HD and digital age it seems funny going to a drive in but its nostalgic! Theres a great drive in down in Wellfleet,Mass that authentic complete with the speaker stands however you listen to the movie on your car radio.Cant wait for a time machine to be invented,Id go see a movie at the Keene Drive In!
@thenas1974 My family is not connected with this theater but the property was sold in the mid 80's and the buildings and screen were demolished. It still remains a vacant lot. This video was originally produced by NH Public TV.
That's to bad. Boy did my Band members and me have a Blast going in the band Truck with the Girl Groupe's. What a time. I miss it. The Father & Son great people. They couldn't catch every one from getting in, but they tried and they were pretty good to you just the same if they caught you.
O.K., another penny: I'm a newbie to this web experience, and, I've noticed that there are people out there that don't bother to comment. Well over a hundred people have watched your well put together heart touching video and I''ll bet that well over a hundred liked it, but instead of commenting they just went on without even thanking you. People, these videos don't come out of the air. Thy take time and talent to produce and sometimes a simple comment is worth your time, eh?!!!!
My 2 cents: Very nice video. Great interviews and narration. The home movies were fvery cool. I spent several years producing OUTDOOR MOOVIES on Public Access TV and documented dozens. On hiatus, a friend of mine has been posting some clips like my Ohio Trip parts 1-4 and Albion Drivre in, check 'em out. Your piece gets a 5 out of 5 stars. The KEENE DRIVE IN will live forever because you took to time to put this fitting tribute out there. Very nice video!
