Get rid of the excessive anime faggotry that was overly abundant in the game, as well as cut the virtual reality segment as well. Other things irritated me like only having 3 party members, but that wasn't a big deal, but overall I felt it was way easier than 2, and I face palmed when they made Gabriel Celeste look retarded as shit.
Other things too, but they escape me at the moment. They should just make a Star Ocean game like 2, but on a blue ray, so it is EPIC HUEG.

Yeah, the game was way too japanese-esque. Too much anime influence, and plus, while both of the previous games did the same thing, albiet better, SO3 was WAYYY too much with the one planet only crap. And the fury bar crap made the game feel like you had to watch every attack without going to 0% and screwing yourself over. SO4 isnt the best, but its a hell of a lot better for sure.
Welch is awesome, like in my 200's now, she also has a move from VP if you complete the bonus dungeon. Anti-Petrification ftw against Gabriel. You also need level 10 music and devil's aria from the silver trumphet.
