Blue jays aren't extinct. I've seen a couple of them here in Waxahachie, both male and female. So to say that they're either extinct or endangered sounds silly.

Blue jays aren't extinct as far as I know. It seems I always see them dive bombing cats. Its pretty funny to watch.

Until now, Elmo's parents haven't really appeared on the actual show, usual they just appear on TV specials.
If this clip is any indication, I guess this means that we may see more of Elmo's parents (or at least his dad) on the new season on Sesame Street.
