  • Great video as always. The entymology of the word Eukaryote and Prokaryote...

    "karyote" means "kernel" (refering to the nucleus)

    "Eu" means "true"

    "Pro" means "before"

    So a Eukaryote is a "true kernel" and a Prokaryote is "before kernel"

  • nice intersting theories about how these structures evolved.
