Seeing babies who were born at 24 weeks horrifies me to think that here in the UK it is still legal to abort up the 24weeks gestations! I really don't understand how someone could do that. It's so good to see how your son has thrives, and how adorable he is! x

Thanks for the lovely comments. I was hoping that the video would give hope to other parents who have a premature baby. It's a really tough time, wishing your little boy a safe trip through the neonatal unit so he can be home with you where he belongs x x

Amazing little boy!!! So nice to see how well he is today, they are so,so strong! I had a little girl who is now 3, she weighed 577 grams born at 25 weeks and just had a boy wighing 867 grams 28 weeks who is now home!!! Both came home on oxygen however it's a small price to pay! They are all miracle babies and so, so special - you feel so blessed every day & thankful for the fantastic, caring doctors & nurses we have! Congratulations to your little man & may all good things come his way. x

Think weight gain, as for full termer's, can differ from baby to baby. Eating and sleeping well are the most important things. :0)

Hi there! Glad you enjoyed the video. I lkie to think it gives hope to other parents with prem babies. Tom came home when he was just 5 lbs in weight (2 weeks corrected) but we never really had many concerns with his weight. He just, ever so slowly, moved up and up the graph. However, friend of mine with 24 weeker did have problems with weight gain up until his first birthday. Then his weight suddenly shot up, and by his corrected first birthday he had nearly caught up! Think weight gain

Hi just watched your video it was so heart warming, I had a daughter in may weighing 1 pound 13 she was born at 30 weeks so know the feeling can i ask a question? Was their issues with his size my daughter is now 8 months but 6 months corrected and only weighs 10 pound 13 and is still in 0-3 clothes how long did it take your son to catch up x
