  • I love the energy and the enthusiasm about the Hinsons. Kenny is so vibrant and loves what he does. It seems for me that it was just announced about his cancer. Did he have kidney cancer? Anyway, what a great song. Thank you for sharing and God Bless You, Gwen Weaver

  • I love the Hinson's. They are spirit filled and don't mind showing it. I miss Kenny. He was special to me but I love all the Hinson's and every thing they sang.

  • someone should nominate this for Best Internet Music and receive and email like this

  • I LOVE IT~ Ronnie was always making threats of what he would do if Kenny didn't "sing it again!"

  • This is my favoite song that the Hinsons sung. I love the fact that they weren't afraid to just let loose get joyous in the Lord.

  • LOVE the HInsons! Grew up listening to them. :)

  • This would make a Baptist want to clap their hands!(LOL)

  • JDHOOTIEJ...THANK GOD FOR OLD TIME SONGS..MAKES ME WANNA SHOUT!!

    SING IT hINSONS

  • I love it when I hear these guys live. They actually learned that ending from me and the guys in Ft Worth when we were all young. lol

We opened for them a few times in Texas.

  • I bet "Dad" Speer, along with everyone else who is there, is frantically praising the Lord right now! God loves it when His children worship Him. . He is the most exciting and awesome person in the universe! When we praise and worship God we may appear 'Stupid" to others but they did not die in our place and give us eternal life.Ot's OK to whoop and holler and act crazy at a sports event but when we get excited and happy about the Lord people think we've lost our minds.

  • WOW!!! I wish I could have been there at that meeting! I bet it was hard to just sit there! You can feel the anointing of God on this 23 years later. If anyone can't stand this kind of praise, don't go to heaven. There will be wild jubilation! We'll be praising the one who gave his life as a ransom for ours. Thank you for posting these videos.

  • With all due respect to the Speers and their many contributions to Gospel music, they couldn't touch the Hinsons.

As far as "Frantic" goes, I guess some people just get more excited about "the day when all the burdens of my soul were rolled away" than others do.

  • beatapt5 you feel the need to come here and slam the Hinsons way of doing the song and presume dad speers would care for it and its pitchy. I'm on my brothers account after i saw your remarks ..look up Kerry Huckabah , i was playing in that video along with several others and was with them untill Kenny passed and let me tell you sir ,there was never a complaint from the Speers or a fan and the annointing was always there ..isnt that the most important thing?or do you just care about bashing us?

  • absolutely the best in southern gospel music!

  • Comment removed

  • Frantic, off key. Don't think "Dad" Speer had this in mind when he wrote the song. But I'm sure the Speers cashed the checks.

  • Frantic? "Enthusiastic" and "spirited" are more accurate. Off key? Not a chance.

My money says Dad Speer would have been quite pleased.

  • Don't agree, but that's okay.

  • @redgreen43 I don't think I have ever heard the Hinsons off key they are right on time! And I love it! Thanks redgreen43

  • @beatapt5 well, just when i think i've heard it all - there's got to be ONE in every crowd, i guess - Kenny Hinson off key - NEVER!!!!!

  • @tuppy20 I agree! Kenny Hinson is one of the BEST SINGERS to EVER grace the gospel stage. He could sing it ALL! He was also a great song writer.

  • @beatapt5 God is Good!

  • wonderful!

  • This is what I miss....they were awesome. Thanks for sharing

  • Wow! This is what I miss. They were THE best, Thanks for sharing.

  • We went and seen the Hinson's when I wasa a kid in Modesto Ca. My mom stated shouting and swinging her arm's. Me and my brother had to duck to keep from getting hit. She slung er presrcipton pill's all over the place whe her leg got caught in her purse handle. Great Memorie's!!

  • @bojangles285 i remember things like that with my mom..she is in glory now and i would love to have one more time with her jumping higher than the pews..i was little and it scared me to death..lol..HA!!!!

  • This group right here was the greatest group in southern gospel music!! They STILL are today as far as I'm concerned!

  • yikes...toooooo much showmanship from Ronnie and the dude between Yvonne and Kenny.

  • the dude between Yvonne and Kenney is Ronny's son Bo...

  • Just awesome!!!!!!!! Love them and the song! Funny too!

  • love this song!!!!! :-)

  • Is that other guy Eric Hinson? I know that's Kenny and Ronnie

  • No, that's Ronny's son Bo Hinson.

  • The total package!! Talented vocals, a talented band, with energy and excitement!! Not only were the Hinsons anointed, but very entertaining as well! I miss that in today's gospel concerts.

  • Glory! Glory! Glory!

  • This lady is AWESOME

  • If Heaven's music is going to be just like the HINSON'S sing; then I sure am looking for the day...............Won't you join me

  • never heard it like this, we always sing it in a lower and slower key.... and we only sing the chorus....thatlady can sing!!!!

  • As I recall, on a Bill Gaither video "Ryman Gospel Reunion," The Speers did a version of this with Brock Speer, Jeanne Johnson, Sue Dodge, Ben Speer, & Harold Lane.

  • You are so right, and to me it sounded much, much better than this version. When Sue Dodge opens her mouth, you know SOMEONE has just sung!--Sandra-S.C.

  • Well, You may be right, but, it's the message behind it that counts regardless of who sings it ;-).

  • The message is always there, you're right. Again though, Sue is an upfront singer and is incredibly good, and yes a better singer than Yvonne Hinson, my point was.... The Hinsons "as a whole" were untouchable. Yvonne merely takes over on the chorus here....look at all thats goin on, the music, KENNY alone makes this version stand out. To each his own... I just thought it odd that you'd make an unprompted "comparison" in a comment regarding a legendary group, thats all.

  • That's absolutely correct. But, I like to hear Sue when it comes her time to sing, in that version. That's all.--Sandra-S.C.

  • Sue Dodge is good... but its like comparing apples to oranges. The Hinsons were a combined talent, untouchable as a whole... nothing compares. period.

  • nobody but the hinsons can make a song sound that good!!

  • We did this song this morning - just about had to take off running! Hallelujah!

    Love it!

  • yah it'll do that to u wont it!!

  • Did it again last sunday and I did take off running! lol So yes it will do that to you!!

  • ive got that full concert on dvd and thats not the only song like that!!

  • Awsome!! I have not heard that song by the Hinsons in years and it is as awsome as I

    remember thank you.

  • Sorry folks. Anyone who wants to engage in petty bickering over one person's interpretation of a Bible verse is going to have to do it somewhere else. The one who stirred the pot has been blocked and the entire discussion has been removed.

  • Another excellent Hinson Video. Nobody could sing this song like the Hinsons could. The anointing of the Holy Ghost on their lives made all the difference. This video brings back so many memories. I can remember hearing them sing this same song many times when I was a little boy. Thanks so much for sharing this video.
