if people are gonna say bad things about michigan dont watch the video because michigan did great in 2011 so fuck off ohio state fans oh that should not be a state
What about 1990 when the mighty Spartans knocked off number 1 michigan, or perhaps 2009 when the mighty spartans shut down denard robinson like they have is whole career. Two words, little sister!!!
@MrSethg17 how many Heisman Trophy winners has state had? how many big ten championships? how many national championships? and what is the series record between michigan and michigan state? michigan has lost a few games but still holds the series by what like 30? and ya SPARTAN TEARS TASTE LIKE SUGAR!
This video give no context for the plays. They flash for one second what play we are watching. Nine of the plays happened in the last 20 years. I do not believe it. Michigan has played football for 133 years, won 11 national championships, and played at Michigan Stadium for 84 years, and the 9 of the "Top 10 Moments" occurred in the last 20 years?!?
i was going to say the 69 game should be in there somehow, not sure 2 and 1 shouldn't be reversed but that's only because I remember what that game meant after 1968 in Columbus. You can see the emotion in Mandich's face. But who can complain about these? Amazing.
1997 remains the most amazing year I ever seen in my entire life. I still think about that year whenever I need to make myself smile and be happy. The feeling was confident, sure and in awe of how the team was set up with the greatest defense that Bo would die for with a terrific basic ball control offense. Not to mention Charles Woodson playing both sides and special team. Go Blue!!
This all amazes me. Not one of those videos come close to the excitement of Anthony Carter catching the game winner against Indiana. He was the player who excited Bo about the forward pass. Everything changed after AC. Michigan even began to recruit good QB's. Other than Woodson, no Wolverine has come close to being as good a reciever and that includes Desmond Howard. Sorry, but I,ve seen them all. AC was electric. He was the leader and the best! Little stick legs...Go AC!
I disagree with Illi 2010 being on this list. The OSU game in '97 was may be the best game I've seen at Michigan Stadium. That had 2 great defenses, future NFL players on the field, Rose Bowl berth, National Championship, and the Heisman all wrapped in one game. The Illi game had a lot of offense with bad defenses on both sides. That's not Michigan football. The verdict is still out with the ND 2011 game. The '95 Virginia game was a great last second win too. That was Lloyd's first win.
People have brought up App State and Virginia, but what about the hail mary against Colorado? That one would rank as pretty memorable. Or the dropped pass against MSU in 90 that would have tied the game.
Top 10? How about Billy Taylor's 21 yard TD against OSU in 1971? Does anyone remember a guy named Bo Schembechler? This list is great, but not top 10, not even close.
Appy state is coming back to the Big House in 2014. For the beating of their young lives, too, if Coaches Hoke and Mattison have anything to say about it.
@Ahmadad If you like games that either of the defenses can play worth a shit... I'm a Michigan fan, but our defense sucked and so did ND's. I'm just happy we have a POTENT offense!
why is anything against little brother considered a top 10 moment? after they graduate all the players recruited while RR was head coach, they'll be recruiting players otherwise headed for the MAC again.
@violenceteacher6669 You mean the ones where Jim Tressel cheated by playing a bunch of players who should have been ineligible? If so, it should be 6 years, cause you guys had to vacate all of last season, remember? It's an honest mistake
Ok I like most of these...how is the '95 game against Virginia not on here...both teams ranked...first start for Dreisbach...and oh yeah..Hayes's touchdown catch in the corner of the end zone with no time left...at the time it was also the largest comeback for Michigan in the Big House.
@hognutt2 Oh you mean the team that needed pure luck to win every game? As opposed to just dominating every team in the Hardest Schedule in the country like Michigan did?
@dunnyb41 The 1997 Nebraska team outscored opponents an average of 46.7-16.5 that year. That's an avg margin of victory of over 30 points. Michigan outscored opponents 26.8-14.3. Nebraska needed luck to beat one team, Missouri. Michigan needed luck and the ref letting the clock run out even after Wash St spiked the ball in order to win the Rose Bowl. Nebraska won at #2 Washington 27-14 and beat #3 Tennessee 42-17 that year. Beat Oklahoma 69-7. Do your research next time.
He thinks he's Jesus and can do whatever he wants and get away with it. That's why he had to hold a press conference to announce where he was going to and it took him so long to announce which school he was going to. He puts himself above the team and is no better than the rest of the scum that went to Ohio State. In Basketball Ohio State has had many players leave after one year because they don't give a shit about the team. IE: Greg Oden.
It's sad that the Buckeyes players all use the program as a stepping stone to get into the NFL. They don't give a rats ass about the program, they just want to line their wallets. Pryor doesn't give a shit about Ohio State, he just want to get his pay out from the memorabilia he has received and then move on to the NFL were he can act like an a hole and get away with it like the rest of the overpaid winy "superstars" in the NFL. He has had his ass kissed by scouts and coaches since HS.
Sure enough we find out what a true scumbag Tressel is. Nice stand up players ya got there Jim. Pryor, Herron, and the boys selling their Big 10 championship rings and memoribilia. They must be real proud to be buckeyes. Those losers should be suspended for the Sugar Bowl
@Ryanuofm86 No, I'm not retarded. I just found it funny that Forcier was pushed aside in all the excitement, much like he was in the first few games Denard was lighting it up. So take your testosterone filled superiority elsewhere. Thanks.
@BrenMcCloud Hey, if you use your eyes a bit and look at 2:20, it IS Forcier. Obviously however it's Jason Forcier, Tate's brother. Geez. Jump on a guy for telling it how it is...
